Developing Online Educational Materials for Global Education in Korea: Project Report سنة النشر: 2020 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU | Korea R. Ministry of Education This project aims to enhance the intercultural understanding of Korean teachers and students by utilizing global education and Global Citizenship Education(GCED) materials produced by partner countries’ teachers. Simultaneously, for the teachers from partner countries, the project is expected to enhance their educational competency, global competency, and online teaching competency required in this pandemic era. 2022 개정 교육과정을 위한 제안: 평화문화를 만들어 가는 세계시민교육 سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف المؤسسي: 유네스코 아시아태평양 국제이해교육원 유네스코 아시아태평양 국제이해교육원은 미래 세대를 위한 2022 개정 교육과정에 꼭 포함되어야 할 교육의 가치, 목표, 인간상, 핵심 역량을 제안하였다. 본 자료에서는 교육과정에 대한 제안에 그치지 않고 학생의 삶과 학교 문화의 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 실행 원칙도 아래와 같이 제시하고 있다.평화문화를 만드는 세계시민교육이 전 교육과정의 실행 원칙이자 모든 교과 구성의 핵심 원리가 되어야 한다.세계시민교육은 추상적인 거대 담론을 제시하기보다 학습자가 주도적으로 자기 삶의 문제를 인식하고 해결을 위한 대안을 찾아 실천하는 데서 시작해야 한다.시민교육의 다양한 주제는 통합적으로 제시되어야 한다. 
EIU Best Practices 2021: Reinforcing GCED Virtually; the AFS Effect+ for the Classroom, a Case from Brazil, Colombia, and New Zealand (EIU Best Practices Series; no.56) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Ana Carolina Cassiano المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.56 introduces ‘the AFS Effect+ for the Classroom Programme’ which is launched in September 2020. The programme has engaged 150+ high-school teachers from Brazil, Colombia, and New Zealand who completed 20 hours of virtual teacher training, collaborated virtually with each other and piloted activities developed by AFS with their classrooms, reaching over 2,500 students. As a result of the programme, the AFS Effect+ for the Classroom: Toolkit for Educators is now available to teachers worldwide to use as a resource for teaching Active Global Citizenship & the SDGs for high school students. The toolkit is currently available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and being disseminated through AFS Network Organizations which are present in 50+ countries. 
EIU Best Practices 2021: Upholding GCED through Amahoro Club; A Case from Burundi (EIU Best Practices Series; no.57) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Sinai Bakanibona المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.57 introduces ‘Amahoro Clubs’ which means Peace Education Clubs. It is a project that has been initiated in other secondary schools of Burundi in terms of consolidating culture of peace and stability in Burundian society by applying different concepts of Global Citizenship Education in our life. This programme influence positively different social stratifications of people to know how to live together and be united by facing diverse challenges which can somber the population in violent conflicts. Amahoro Clubs serve as a platform in which people become aware of the various social issues. Students and teachers are gaining the necessary knowledge and skills that will help prevent the occurrence of conflicts. 
EIU Best Practices 2021: Strengthening Global Citizenship Skills; The Project GLACE Experience, A Case from Philippines (EIU Best Practices Series; no.58) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Marco Meduranda المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.58 introduces ‘Project GLACE’ or ‘Global Learning through Active Citizenship Education’. It is an after-school enhancement program that sought to enhance students' global citizenship skills through afterschool learning sessions, off-campus intercultural education experiences, and service-learning or community outreach activities. Using the 4-I's (Inquire, Investigate, Innovate and Impact), selected teachers taught global citizenship education concepts for a span of 12 - 15 weeks with the first six to ten weeks exploring the themes of social justice and equity, identity and diversity, self-awareness and reflection, concern for the environment, commitment to sustainable development, and commitment to participation and inclusion. 
EIU Best Practices Series No.31: A Step towards Change: Incorporating EIU in Classrooms and Beyond سنة النشر: 2013 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.31 introduces a case study in which Bhutanese school carried out activities and curriculum development to successfully promote EIU and ESD for students and teachers. While the school’s curriculum already embodies a degree of EIU, the school strived to be more creative in upholding the existing content by exploring newer issues of media ethics, human rights, culture, and environmental conservation for fruitful engagement. This in turn allowed the target audience to learn the values of EIU/ESD for a culture of peace. 
EIU Best Practices Series No.33: Shaping an Action-Oriented Learning Community for Sustainable Development سنة النشر: 2013 المؤلف المؤسسي: Centre Asie-Pacifique d'éducation pour la compréhension internationale (APCEIU) This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.33 introduces a program implemented at the Ganga International School in India to promote eco-friendly and multicultural society. Teachers, students, and local community members engaged in awareness raising events such as Recycled Paper Art exhibition, Tree Plantation Drive, and Anti-Malaria Project, allowing everyone to absorb the meaning of EIU and sustainable development. Furthermore, students partook in seed exchange program and video conferences to discuss environmental issues with students of partner schools, which amplified impact at local and global levels. 
EIU Best Practices Series No.39: Building School Capacity for Global Citizenship Education: Dungtse Middle Secondary School, Trashigang, Bhutan سنة النشر: 2015 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.39 introduces the Training of Trainers (TOT) program, a workshop for teachers to better incorporate GCED/EIU concepts into respective curriculum and school environment. Upon participating in the APCEIU training workshop, Mr. Yeshi Dorji from Dungtse Middle Secondary School in Bhutan sought to create a forum in which teachers and school officials can learn to incorporate GCED. Such exemplary initiative not only enhances capacity building of educators in the school, but also has potential to have larger impact in the local and regional communities. 
새로운 교육과정에 담은 세계시민교육: 2015 개정 교육과정 맞춤 교수학습 가이드 سنة النشر: 2017 المؤلف المؤسسي: 유네스코 아시아태평양 국제이해교육원 유네스코 아시아태평양 국제이해교육원(APCEIU)은 교사용 세계시민교육 교수학습 가이드 『새로운 교육과정에 담은 세계시민교육』을 출간했다. 이 교수학습 가이드는 유네스코 세계시민교육 가이드(Global Citizenship Education: Topic and Learning Objectives)를 2015 개정 교육과정에 연계시켜 실제 학교 수업에 적용하는 방안을 제시하고자 개발된 것으로, 초등학교 교사용, 중학교 교사용, 고등학교 교사용 등 총 3종으로 구성되어 있다. 세계시민교육은 어떤 교육이고, 그것이 필요한 이유는 무엇인지, 유네스코 세계시민교육과 한국의 국가 교육과정은 어떤 연관성을 지니고 있는지, 세계시민교육을 주요 유관 과목에 접목시키고자 할 때에는 어떤 학습 요소를 강조하는 것이 적절한지, 그리고 세계시민교육 수업은 어떤 방식으로 구성할 수 있는지 등과 같은 질문에 대한 답을 찾고 있다면 이 교수학습 가이드를 펼쳐 보기 바란다.
