World Heritage Online Map Platform: Technical Note on the Provision of Geospatial Data سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO UNESCO’s World Heritage Online Map Platform (WHOMP) is a Geographic Information System (GIS) developed with the support of the Government of Flanders (Belgium), aiming at the creation of a comprehensive and accessible geodatabase for World Heritage properties worldwide. This platform is hosted and managed by UNESCO which ensures that the data presented correspond exactly to the boundaries of the World Heritage properties and their buffer zones as inscribed in the World Heritage List, including any changes adopted by the World Heritage Committee after the initial inscription of a property. College of Education Ibn Rushd هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى معرفة دور المواطنة الرقمية في استخدام التكنولوجيا والتقليل من الاخطار الناجمة عنها، فقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستبانة لمعرفة هل هناك دور للمواطنة الرقمية في استخدام التكنولوجيا والتقليل من الاخطار الناجمة عنها، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (102) موظف في وزارة التربية والتعليم لواء ماركا (قصبة عمان الرابعة). تكونت الاستبانة من محورين رئيسين، المحور الاول المعرفة بمفهوم المواطنة الرقمية، المحور الثاني دور المواطنة الرقمية في استخدام التكنولوجيا والتقليل من أخطار التكنولوجيا. ودلت نتائج الدراسة على أن معرفة عينة الدراسة لمفهوم المواطنة الرقمية بدرجة مرتفعة ؛ فقد كان الوسط الحسابي يساوي (3.887) على مقياس ليكرت الخماسي والانحراف المعياري يساوي(0.97). ودلت النتائج على أن وجود دور قوي للمواطنة في التقليل من الاخطار الناجمة عن التكنولوجيا ؛ فقد كان الوسط الحسابي يساوي (4.2) والانحراف المعياري يساوي (0.94). 
Forecast the Adult Learning Education in Kuwait Through 2024 (Journal of Educational and Psychological Sciences; vol.4, no.33) سنة النشر: 2020 المؤلف: Rasha Mhdi Al-Ajmi | Sheikha Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri | Fatima Mutlaq Al-Otaibi | Ghazi Al-Rashidi المؤلف المؤسسي: Arab Institute of Science and Research Publishing (AISRP) This study aimed to identify the predictive values of the secular trend for the next five years of the time series to the most important educational factors in Literacy and Adult Learning Education in Kuwait. Also, it aimed to compare between growth rate on the secular trend of the time series towards the most important educational factors at Literacy and Adult Learning Education at the different phases. Time series was used to analyze Literacy and Adult Learning Education’s statistics; which were taken from Ministry of Education in Kuwait, from 2014 to 2019. The study showed several results such as most of the educational factors’ growth rates were low. In addition, it appeared that most of the predictive values from 2020 to 2024 were degreased. The growth rate for the total centers for adult learning was- 2.7%; whereas, it was- 3.7% for classes. Also, the growth rate for the total of students was- 1.9%. The last but not the least, the growth rate for the total of teachers was the lowest which was- 6.0%. Several recommendations and suggestions were given based on the results of this study.

세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육의 포용적 접근 방향 탐색 (글로벌교육연구; Vol. 16, No.2) سنة النشر: 2024 المؤلف: 송슬기 | 손민호 المؤلف المؤسسي: 글로벌교육연구학회 빠르고 복잡한 변화와 불확실성의 확대는 현대사회의 특징 가운데 하나다. 개인성과 다양성이 심화되어가는 맥락에서 배타적 문화와 분쟁 역시 드물지 않게 접할 수 있는 오늘날, 인간에게 요구되는 소양이 무엇인가에 대한 고민은 세계시민성의 요구로 귀결되어 왔다. 이 연구는 사회 변화에 따른 포용적 가치를 요구하는 교육으로 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육에 관한 폭넓은 문헌 분석에 기초하였다. 그리고 문헌 분석을 선행연구 수준에서 논의되었던 세계시민교육에 대한 요구와 국내 현황을 정리한 후, 최근의 UNESCO, OCED를 비롯한 교육 연구자들이 가치와 태도로서 세계시민성을 다루고 있는 연구 동향에 대해 살피며 세계시민교육의 실천적 접근 방향에 대해 탐색한 바 있다. 그 결과 연구는 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육의 방향으로 교과의 층위를 넘어서서 범교과적인 가치와 전략으로서 교수학습 및 평가 문화의 개선, 학급 문화를 통한 다양성과 보편성에 대한 경험 등을 채워나가는 것의 방법을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 세계시민성 함양을 위한 이론적 논의와 더불어 실천적 논의를 보고자 하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 그러나 한편으로는 포괄적인 교육과정 층위에서의 접근을 취했다는 점에서 구체적 실행연구를 실시하지 못했다는 한계 역시 갖는다. 연구는 이를 바탕으로 세계시민성 함양을 위한 교육문화의 조성에 기여할 수 있는 구체적 실행연구의 필요성을 제안하였다. The Role of Digital Citizenship in the Use of Technology and Reducing the Risks Resulting from it (Alustath Journal for Human and Social Sciences; vol.59, no.3) سنة النشر: 2020 المؤلف: Amal Mohammed Abdullah Albado المؤلف المؤسسي: University of Baghdad. College of Education Ibn Rushd The current study aims to know the role of digital citizenship in the use of technology and reducing the risks resulting from it. The researcher uses the descriptive analytical approach and makes a questionnaire to know if there is a role for the digital citizenship in the use of technology and reducing the dangers caused by it. The study sample consists of (102) employees in the Ministry of Education Marka Brigade (the fourth Amman qasaba). The questionnaire consists of two main axes: the first axis, which is defined as the concept of digital citizenship, the second axis is the role of digital citizenship in the use of technology and reducing the dangers of technology. The results of the study show that the awareness of the sample of the study of the concept of digital citizenship is on a high level, on average that equals (3.887) of the Likert quinary scale and the standard deviation is equal to (0.97). The results also show a strong role for citizens in reducing the dangers caused by technology where the arithmetic mean equals (4.2) and the standard deviation was (0.94). 
Educational Contexts, Feminism and Gender identities of Adolescents from a Rural Mayan Town in Yucatan (Iberoamerican Journal of Education; vol. 89, no. 1) سنة النشر: 2022 المؤلف: Silvia Montejo Murillo المؤلف المؤسسي: Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI) The purpose of this article is to compare and explore the gender identity of adolescent women from a rural Mayan locality, from two of their educational contexts: the telesecundaria school and daily life in the community. Interviews and participant observation were used to obtain qualitative primary data. Among the main findings, it stands out that the institutional structure and rigidity of the school limits adolescents from being able to act at certain times from social attributes different from those offered by their locality. Likewise, the school contributed to the individualization of the participants and trained them to have foreign values as a desirable representation of “development”, aspects that do not necessarily contribute to the idea of “community”. Se utilizaron entrevistas y observación participante para obtener los datos primarios cualitativos. Entre los principales hallazgos se destaca, que la estructura y rigidez institucional de la escuela, limita a las adolescentes poder actuar en ciertos momentos desde atributos sociales distintos a los que les ofrece su localidad. Asimismo, la escuela contribuyó a la individualización de las participantes y las formó para tener como representación deseable del “desarrollo” los valores del exterior, aspectos que no contribuyen necesariamente a la idea de “comunidad”.
