Promouvoir l’éducation et la protection de la petite enfance en situations d’urgence sensibles au climat سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف المؤسسي: Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) Ce document est destiné au secteur de l’éducation en situations d’urgence, mais il est pertinent pour toutes celles et ceux qui s’intéressent aux questions relatives aux enfants, car le changement climatique affecte le développement de l’enfant dans tous les contextes. Les approches présentées dans ce document peuvent aider les systèmes éducatifs dans des contextes non urgents à être mieux préparés et résilients face au climat. C’est pourquoi ce document décrit les interventions multisectorielles en matière d’EPPE qui peuvent servir de solutions à des objectifs plus larges d’atténuation du changement climatique et d’adaptation au changement climatique. Ces actions visent à trouver des solutions à long terme pour réduire l’exposition des enfants aux risques liés au changement climatique. L’objectif de ces solutions à long terme est de créer de nouvelles façons de penser, d’être et d’agir adaptées au climat, en se concentrant sur l’attention portée aux autres et à la Terre, et en renforçant la résilience climatique des enfants et des systèmes de prise en charge qui les soutiennent.

While digital technologies have opened up new opportunities for life-long learning, they have also given rise to emerging concerns, notably in relation to the rise of disinformation and hate speech online. Revision Process of the 1974 Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Co-operation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms: Compilation of Member State Comments سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO Adopted in 1974, the Recommendation concerning education for international understanding, co-operation and peace and education relating to human rights and fundamental freedoms is considered a landmark legal instrument that brings together for the first time peace, international understanding, human rights, fundamental freedoms and education. As per Circular letter 4401, the preliminary report and the first draft of the revised 1974 Recommendation were transmitted to Member States for their written comments and observations. These written comments were taken into consideration by the Director-General when preparing the revised second draft of the Recommendation to be discussed at the Intergovernmental Special Committee Meeting (Category II), in view of its submission to the 42nd session of the General Conference in November 2023 and eventual adoption. 
Unmasking Racism: Guidelines for Educational Materials سنة النشر: 2024 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO These Guidelines developed by UNESCO provide recommendations on how to combat racism in textbooks and to develop learning materials that are free of prejudice and bias and do not perpetuate stereotypes or legitimize unequal social structures. Through a comprehensive analysis of recent studies of textbooks and other educational materials, the guide also demonstrates how countries around the world address racism and racialization. It increases awareness and improves our understanding of how racism manifests in educational materials, and aims to support education stakeholders to promote just, peaceful and multicultural societies. 
Study on International Development Cooperation for Children سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف المؤسسي: Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation International development cooperation for children is vital to safeguarding child rights. With support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation conducted a study on international development cooperation for children. This report presents case studies on international development cooperation for children among four top donors, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany. It examines the different contexts, strategies, policies, institutional mechanisms, and challenges related to international development cooperation for children and revealed several notable characteristics of international development cooperation for children. The study analyzed the evolution of China’s international development cooperation model for children in the past few decades. The World's Largest Flower: Resource Guide سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف المؤسسي: Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) The creation of a pedagogical resource for Education for Global Citizenship, based on the story “The Largest Flower in the World”, written by José Saramago, arose on the occasion of the Commemorations of the Centennial of the Birth of José Saramago 2021-2022, as part of the activities of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) in Portugal and was promoted by the José Saramago Foundation (FJS) and the General Directorate of Education (DGE). To carry out the project, an alliance was made with Help Images, which produced the four videos that accompany the proposal. The activities aim to support the work of teachers, educators and animators within the framework of formal and non-formal education, in the construction of learning for a committed, coherent, supportive and respectful global citizenship of human rights, crossing the experiences of the students with the themes and contents presented in this proposal.
