Comment l’ECM peut-elle promouvoir l’égalité des genres ? (SangSaeng N° 51 Hiver 2018) سنة النشر: 2018 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU SangSaeng (상생), mot coréen d’origine chinoise, se compose de deux caractères : Sang (相), qui signifie « mutual » (les uns les autres) et Saeng (生), qui signifie « vie ». Mis ensemble, ils signifient « vivre ensemble », « s’entraider ». C’est notre vision pour la région Asie-Pacifique. SangSaeng (相生) se veut une plateforme de débats constructifs sur les sujets, méthodes et expériences dans le domaine de l’éducation à la compréhension internationale. SangSaeng vise aussi à promouvoir l’Éducation à la citoyenneté mondiale, une des trois priorités de l’Initiative mondiale pour l’éducation avant tout, lancée par les Nations Unies en 2012. Youth Advocacy Kit on Global Citizenship Education سنة النشر: 2018 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU APCEIU has published the Youth Advocacy Kit on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) in order to provide youth leaders a guideline on advocacy for GCED. Targeting youth activists who currently participate in GCED programmes around the world, the kit offers the overview of GCED and advocacy as well as tips and tools to effectively implement advocacy campaign for GCED in local and global context. 3rd Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED: Final Report سنة النشر: 2017 المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 3rd Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) held in Jeju, Republic of Korea, from 28 May - 3 June 2017. This programme invited 50 youth activists from 43 countries around the world to exchange their ideas and identify GCED leadership strategies in order to mobilize young people for GCED in local and national contexts and advance the agenda globally. This report also aims to convey the voice of the youth represented by GCED Youth Network: their thoughts and reflections on GCED and its priority areas. EIU Best Practices 2021: Fostering Intercultural Awareness through GCED; A Case from Sri Lanka (EIU Best Practices Series; no.59) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Oshan Madushanka Gunathilake المؤلف المؤسسي: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.59 introduces ‘Citizen Culture’ which is designed to foster intercultural and interreligious understanding within youth communities through the theories and learnings of GCED. The programme focused on a selected group of young individuals who are representing both vulnerable communities as well as privileged, also belonging to a diverse mixture of cultural, religious, social and ethnic backgrounds. The learners will go into their respective communities and spread this message as agents of positive change and actively contribute to the social cohesion, trust and awareness building through volunteer participation for transforming popular harmful narratives and practices which are structured in our society - cultivating a culture of peace.

For effective delivery of peace education, it is critical to examine and understand the relevance of peace education and its key issues and approaches at a given juncture. With this in mind, in 2020, APCEIU conducted a study on peace education in South Korea to review its current state and suggest some policy recommendations. Following up on this study, APCEIU initiated in 2021 a research project on peace education in Northeast Asia in order to identify how peace education is interpreted and practised in the countries of the region and explore possibilities of cooperation among peace educators, researchers, and practitioners in the region. Building on this research, APCEIU hopes to develop and carry out joint projects for peace education in the region.
