State of the Global Climate 2023 سنة النشر: 2024 المؤلف المؤسسي: World Meteorological Organization (WMO) The publication provides a summary on the state of the climate indicators in 2023 with sections on key climate indicators, extreme events and impacts. The indicators include global temperatures, greenhouse gas concentration, ocean heat content, sea level rise, ocean acidification, Arctic and Antarctic sea ice, Greenland ice sheet and glaciers and snow cover, precipitation and stratospheric ozone, with an analysis of major drivers of inter-annual climate variability during the year including the El Niño Southern Oscillation and other ocean and atmospheric indices. The highlighted extreme events include those related to tropical cyclones and wind storms; flooding, drought and extreme heat and cold events. The Digital Transformation of Governmental Higher Education Institutions in the Southern Governorates of Palestine سنة النشر: 2023 المؤلف: Randa Ead Shrair The article aimed to identify the level of digital transformation in government higher education institutions in the Southern Governorates of Palestine from the point of view of its faculty members and to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05). between the averages of the respondents' responses about the level of digital transformation in Government higher education institutions in the Southern Governorates of Palestine are attributed to the variables: (gender, years of service, academic degree, and specialization); by using the descriptive/surveying, a questionnaire was designed consisted of (30) items distributed on (4) axes. After verifying its validity and reliability, the questionnaire was applied to a stratified random sample of (123) male and female faculty members. Wide angle, of this issue dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UNESCO is closely associated with the development and implementation of this international road map that aims
to achieve the seventeen objectives established by the UN, which is convinced that culture, though officially absent from the SDGs, is at the heart of sustainable development policies (p. 12). Elyx, the jovial character created by Yacine Ait Kaci (YAK) and designated virtual ambassador of the UN, supports the Courier in its mission to make palpable the different realities around the world. This issue of the Courier also features a reference text on the Different Aspects of Islamic Culture. Launched in 1977, in the wake of a monumental work produced by UNESCO Publishing on general and regional histories, this comprehensive work was completed in November 2016, with the publication of two volumes that constitute an important contribution to the current debate on Islam. will celebrate the launch of the World Book Capital programme in Conakry
on 23 April (p. 70) and the International Jazz Day, with the Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés (p. 58) on 30 April in Havana.
