When Feeling and Action Come Together in Educational Practice. Relations Between Development Education and Learning Service for a Global Citizenship سنة النشر: 2016 المؤلف: Yolanda Fernández Carrión | Mª Jesús Martínez Usarralde The difficulties based on the development are a usual topic in education. After emphasizing the relevance of the development education as an essential element for the construction of the global citizenship, the challenge stands out by its innovative intention of trying to implicate it with service learning. This one tries to be an explorative and interpretative theoretic analyses about the potentialities which can be provided by service learning in the achievement of the objectives planned by the development education. This correlation not only affects the substantial improvement of both practices by building positive synergies but also its universalization forms a clear positive influence in the endogenous development of the village people, carrying out the real empowerment of the critical, sensible and global citizenship. The possibility of giving the main role as a human developmental engine to education is within our reach and the union between development education and service learning teaches us the keys. Tras resaltar la relevancia de la Educación para el Desarrollo (EpD) como elemento fundamental en la construcción de una ciudadanía global, el objetivo de este artículo consiste en relacionarla con una cultura educativa, el Aprendizaje Servicio (ApS). Éste pretende ser, así, un análisis teórico exploratorio e interpretativo sobre las potencialidades que puede aportar el ApS en la consecución de las metas planteadas por la EpD. Esta vinculación no sólo repercute en la mejora substancial de la práctica de ambas creando sinergias positivas, sino que su universalización constituye una clara incidencia positiva en el desarrollo endógeno de los pueblos, llevando a la práctica el empoderamiento real de la ciudadanía crítica, reflexiva y global. La posibilidad de otorgar el papel relevante que posee la educación como motor de desarrollo humano está a nuestro alcance: la alianza entre EpD y APS nos muestran las claves.

At the junction of SDG Target 4.7, SEL, and education in post conflict and low-resource settings, the NISSEM global briefs are a key resource for current research and practice.NISSEM is a Networking to Integrate SDG Target 4.7 and SEL(Social and emotional learning) into Educational Materials launched in March, 2018. 
Active citizens: globally connected, locally engaged; facilitator's toolkit سنة النشر: 2014 المؤلف المؤسسي: British Council This toolkit has been created to help facilitators to design and deliver the Active Citizens programme all over the world. Active Citizens is a social leadership programme which promotes intercultural dialogue and social responsibility as key leadership competencies in the 21st century. Active Citizens is run by the British Council working with civil society organisations all over the world. It began in 2009 and has been delivered in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. It has reached more than 100,000 people to date through its training, conferences, social research and International Study Visits. The toolkit is in five sections - the introduction to the programme, preparing a workshop, delivering a workshop and post-workshop. There is also a large resource of workshop activity plans to support facilitators throughout the training cycle. The Active Citizens programme promotes community-led social development. It motivates members of communities to take responsibility for their social needs and gives them the knowledge, skills and experience to address them. The main audiences for the programme are community leaders working in, and with marginalised communities. They are people and institutions established, trusted and valued in the community - CSOs, NGOs, religious leaders, politicians, youth workers etc. They are influential and working to improve the lives of people living in their community. The programme develops skills and knowledge to identify and engage networks to help achieve goals as well as skills to plan and implement a project. The networks are between individuals at community level; institutions engaged in social action at community level; and institutions engaged in social policy dialogue at a national level. It includes cross-sectoral networking e.g. with the business community, media, etc. The building of these networks increases social inclusion, community resilience to conflict and increases social development in communities. See Diagram 1 on page 9. The programme is flexible and adaptable. It has been delivered to diverse groups, from rural communities in North-West Frontier Province Pakistan to urban communities in East London UK, to communities vulnerable to post-election violence in Kenya and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sri Lanka. Citoyens actifs est un programme de leadership social qui favorise le dialogue interculturel et la responsabilité sociale comme compétences clés en leadership au 21e siècle. Citoyens actifs est géré par le British Council travaille avec des organisations de la société civile partout dans le monde. Le programme développe les compétences et les connaissances pour identifier et engager des réseaux pour aider à atteindre les objectifs ainsi que les compétences nécessaires pour planifier et mettre en œuvre un projet. Les réseaux sont entre les individus au niveau de la communauté; les institutions engagées dans l'action sociale au niveau communautaire; et les institutions engagées dans un dialogue de politique sociale au niveau national. Il comprend la mise en réseau intersectoriel par exemple avec la communauté des affaires, des médias, etc. La construction de ces réseaux augmente l'inclusion sociale, la résilience des communautés aux conflits et augmente le développement social dans les communautés. Kit de Herramientas de incidencia Juvenil sobre ECM سنة النشر: 2019 المؤلف المؤسسي: El Centro Asia Pacífico de Educación para el Entendimiento Internacional (APCEIU) APCEIU ha publicado el Kit de Herramientas de incidencia Juvenil sobre Educación para la Ciudadanía Mundial (ECM) para proveer a líderes jóvenes con una guía de incidencia sobre ECM. Enfocado en jóvenes activistas que actualmente participan en programas de ECM alrededor del mundo, el kit ofrece una mirada de la ECM e incidencia, así como consejos y herramientas para implementar de forma efectiva una campaña de incidencia en los niveles local y global. التربية على المواطنة العالمية: مواضيع وأهداف تعلمية سنة النشر: 2015 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO هذا الدليل "التربية على المواطنة العالمية: المواضيع والأهداف التعلمية" هو أول التوجيهات التربوية لليونسكو حول تعليم المواطنة العالمية. أتى هذا الدليل نتيجة لبحوث معمقة وعملية استشارية مع خبراء من مختلف أصقاع العالم. يرتكز هذا التوجيه على دليل اليونسكو» التربية على المواطنة العالمية: تحضير المتعلمين لتحديات القرن الواحد والعشرين " ومخرجات الأحداث لليونسكو حول التربية على المواطنة العالمية: المشاورة الفنية حول التربية على المواطنة العالمية (أيلول/سبتمبر 2013) وندوة اليونسكو الأولى والثانية حول التربية على المواطنة العالمية، واللتين عقدتا في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013 وكانون الثاني/يناير من العام 2015 على التوالي. قبل الانتهاء من العمل على هذا التوجيه، اختبره أصحاب المصلحة في المجال التعليمي اختباراً ميدانياً في عدد من الدول المنتقاة بغية الحرص على ملاءمته للسياقات الجغرافية والاجتماعية الثقافية المختلفة. تهدف التربية على المواطنة العالمية إلى أن تشكل قوة تحويلية، وبناء المعرفة والمهارات والقيم والسلوكيات التي يحتاج إليها المتعلمون ليتمكنوا من المساهمة في عالم أكثر دمجاً وعدلا وسلاماً. ويقدم هذا الدليل اقتراحات لترجمة مفاهيم التربية على المواطنة العالمية إلى مواضيع وأهداف تعلمية عملية ومراعية للأعمار بطريقة تسمح بمواءمتها مع السياقات المحلية. ويهدف الدليل إلى أن يشكل مورداً للمربين ومطوري المناهج والمدربين، بالإضافة إلى صانعي السياسات، فضلا عن كونه مهماً أيضاً لغيرهم من أصحاب المصلحة في المجال التعليمي، العاملين في أطر نظامية أو غير نظامية. يعرّف الدليل بالتربية العالمية ومقوماتها التعلمية وكيفية إدماجها في النطم التربوية وتطبيقها داخل الصف. 
Global Citizenship Education: Topics and Learning Objectives سنة النشر: 2015 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO This publication, titled Global Citizenship Education: Topics and learning objectives, is the first pedagogical guidance from UNESCO on global citizenship education. It is the result of an extensive research and consultation process with experts from different parts of the world. This guidance draws on the UNESCO publication Global Citizenship Education: Preparing learners for the challenges of the 21st century and the outcomes of three key UNESCO events on global citizenship education: the Technical Consultation on Global Citizenship Education (September 2013), as well as the First and Second UNESCO Fora on Global Citizenship Education, organized in December 2013 and January 2015 respectively. Before it was finalized, the guidance was field-tested by education stakeholders in selected countries in all regions to ensure its relevance in different geographical and socio-cultural contexts. Following the foundational work of UNESCO to clarify the conceptual underpinnings of global citizenship education and provide policy and programmatic directions, this document has been developed in response to the needs of Member States for overall guidance on integrating global citizenship education in their education systems. It presents suggestions for translating global citizenship education concepts into practical and age-specific topics and learning objectives in a way that allows for adaptation to local contexts. It is intended as a resource for educators, curriculum developers, trainers as well as policy-makers, but it will also be useful for other education stakeholders working in non-formal and informal settings.
