Global Sustainable Development Report 2019: The Future is Now سنة النشر: 2019 المؤلف المؤسسي: United Nations (UN) The Report, requested by all countries to evaluate progress on the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, is the first of its kind since the landmark Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted four years ago. Entitled “The Future is Now: Science for Achieving Sustainable Development,” the report finds that the current development model is not sustainable, and the progress made in the last two decades is in danger of being reversed through worsening social inequalities and potentially irreversible declines in the natural environment that sustains us. The scientists concluded that a far more optimistic future is still attainable, but only by drastically changing development policies, incentives and actions.The report argues that understanding the interconnections between the individual SDGs and the concrete systems that define society today will be essential to devise policies that manage difficult trade-offs. 
A Whole School Approach to Prevent School-Related Gender-Based Violence سنة النشر: 2016 المؤلف المؤسسي: United Nations Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI) The limitations of data collection and monitoring mechanisms around school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) are widely acknowledged. This guide provides a framework to guide policy makers and practitioners in designing school violence prevention programmes and strengthening response actions. The prevention model is based on eight evidence-based standards and is accompanied by a monitoring approach with a set of proposed indicators at school, district and national levels. The goal is to enable implementation strategies to be adapted and monitored in order to improve data collection and accountability around incidents of SRGBV at the school, district and national levels.

It proposes a model for gender mainstreaming across PVE efforts that is human rights–compliant.The objective of this document is not to provide a single template or one-size-fits-all approach for PVE—in part because a wide range of activities potentially falls under PVE—but more significantly because, to be successful, each context requires a human rights–compliant, gender-responsive, bespoke, and locally derived set of practices and policies.
