Global citizenship in primary and secondary education in the Netherlands سنة النشر: 2012 المؤلف: Lette Hogeling المؤلف المؤسسي: National Committee for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development (NCDO) NCDO has examined the opinions and methods of teachers and directors with regard to global citizenship, as well as the obstacles and opportunities they experience around global citizenship in education. More than 1,500 teachers and almost 300 directors have participated in the research. A large majority of the teachers in primary and secondary education think that global citizenship is an important subject for Dutch education. Also, the majority of the teachers are of the opinion that it is important that the lessons link up with current events. Nevertheless, only a minority of the teachers in primary and secondary education believe that global citizenship should be a compulsory part of the curriculum. It is mainly teachers of geography, economics, cultural and social subjects who are of the opinion that global citizenship is an important theme. La citoyenneté mondiale dans l'enseignement primaire et secondaire aux Pays-Bas سنة النشر: 2012 المؤلف: Lette Hogeling المؤلف المؤسسي: National Committee for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development (NCDO) NCDO a examiné les opinions et les méthodes des enseignants et des administrateurs à l'égard de la citoyenneté mondiale, ainsi que les obstacles et les opportunités qu'ils rencontrent autour de la citoyenneté mondiale dans l'éducation. Plus de 1.500 enseignants et près de 300 directeurs ont participé à la recherche. Une grande majorité des enseignants dans l'enseignement primaire et secondaire pensent que la citoyenneté mondiale est un sujet important pour l'éducation néerlandaise. En outre, la majorité des enseignants sont d'avis qu'il est important que les leçons de lien avec l'actualité. Néanmoins, seule une minorité des enseignants dans l'enseignement primaire et secondaire croient que la citoyenneté mondiale devrait être une partie obligatoire du programme. Il est principalement les professeurs de géographie, l'économie, la culture et les sujets sociaux qui sont d'avis que la citoyenneté mondiale est un thème important. 
When Feeling and Action Come Together in Educational Practice. After emphasizing the relevance of the development education as an essential element for the construction of the global citizenship, the challenge stands out by its innovative intention of trying to implicate it with service learning. This one tries to be an explorative and interpretative theoretic analyses about the potentialities which can be provided by service learning in the achievement of the objectives planned by the development education. This correlation not only affects the substantial improvement of both practices by building positive synergies but also its universalization forms a clear positive influence in the endogenous development of the village people, carrying out the real empowerment of the critical, sensible and global citizenship. The possibility of giving the main role as a human developmental engine to education is within our reach and the union between development education and service learning teaches us the keys. Tras resaltar la relevancia de la Educación para el Desarrollo (EpD) como elemento fundamental en la construcción de una ciudadanía global, el objetivo de este artículo consiste en relacionarla con una cultura educativa, el Aprendizaje Servicio (ApS). Éste pretende ser, así, un análisis teórico exploratorio e interpretativo sobre las potencialidades que puede aportar el ApS en la consecución de las metas planteadas por la EpD. Esta vinculación no sólo repercute en la mejora substancial de la práctica de ambas creando sinergias positivas, sino que su universalización constituye una clara incidencia positiva en el desarrollo endógeno de los pueblos, llevando a la práctica el empoderamiento real de la ciudadanía crítica, reflexiva y global. La posibilidad de otorgar el papel relevante que posee la educación como motor de desarrollo humano está a nuestro alcance: la alianza entre EpD y APS nos muestran las claves. This exploration will in the coming years be the basis for NCDO’s programmes in the area of research, staff training, and knowledge sharing. NCDO has the important task of engaging people in these two major changes in perspective: what does it mean, how important is it to us, how can we contribute to it? NCDO considers it its responsibility to raise awareness amongst Dutch citizens of the growing connection and mutual dependency between people across the globe, as well as to make them aware of the opportunities they have to help tackle global issues. In other words: NCDO aims to advance the global dimension of citizenship in the Netherlands. But what exactly is that global dimension of citizenship? Despite growing awareness of the importance of global citizenship, a clear and broadly accepted definition of the concept is still lacking (Hart, 2011). To date the concept is often explained by using examples and focus areas. This publication will present the definition of global citizenship that NCDO will employ in the coming period. NCDO a la tâche importante d'engager les gens dans ces deux grands changements en perspective: qu'est-ce que cela veut dire, combien il est important pour nous, comment pouvons-nous y contribuer? NCDO estime qu'il lui incombe de sensibiliser les citoyens néerlandais de la connexion croissante et la dépendance mutuelle entre les peuples à travers le monde, ainsi que pour leur faire connaître les possibilités qu'ils ont pour aider à résoudre les problèmes mondiaux. Global Citizenship: A Study on the Socio-political Identities in an Interconnected World سنة النشر: 2017 المؤلف: Antonio Martín-Cabello This paper aims to study the possible emergence of a new type of citizenship: global citizenship. For some time much of the literature in social science has related a weakening of nation-state and national-citizenship as a result of the globalization process. The consequence would be an increase in cosmopolitanism and emergence of a global citizenship identity. This, in principle, would be especially pronounced amongst the most globalized groups. The paper discusses two of these: backpackers and corporate expatriates. However, we show here that contradictory features arise when the available empirical evidence is studied. Both backpackers and corporate expatriates share a cosmopolitan rhetoric that has no clear correlation with the areas of social practice. Ciudadanía global. Un estudio sobre las identidades sociopolíticas en un mundo interconectado سنة النشر: 2017 المؤلف: Antonio Martín-Cabello Este artículo pretende realizar un estudio sobre la posible aparición de un nuevo tipo de ciudadanía: la ciudadanía global. Buena parte de la bibliografía de ciencias sociales lleva tiempo anunciando el debilitamiento del estado-nación y de la ciudadanía nacional como resultado del proceso de globalización. La consecuencia sería el aumento del cosmopolitismo y la emergencia de una identidad ciudadana global. Esta sería, en principio, especialmente acusada entre los colectivos más globalizados. En el artículo se analizarán dos: los mochileros y los expatriados corporativos. Sin embargo, se intentará mostrar que cuando se utiliza la evidencia empírica disponible existen rasgos contradictorios. Tanto los mochileros como los expatria- dos corporativos comparten una retórica cosmopolita que no tiene un correlato tan claro en la esfera de las prácticas.
