إعداد المعلم العربي للألفية الثالثة : تحديات واتجاهات سنة النشر: 2007 المؤلف: جرار، سمير المؤلف المؤسسي: Lebanese Association for Educational Studies (LAES) يستعرض البحث التحديات والتوجهات الخاصة بالإعداد المستقبلي للمعلمين في الدول العربية والحاجة إلى تمهين التعليم مع المحافظة على نوعيته وجودته في عصر المعلومات ومجتمع المعرفة. وبعد الحديث عن مسيرة إعداد المعلمين في البلدان العربية وتدريبهم يدعو الباحث إلى إعادة النظر في عملية الإعداد بحيث تتوافق مع الرؤية الجديدة للتعلم ولوظيفة المعلم في آن واحد، كما يدعو إلى تعزيز الشراكة بين كليات التربية وبين المدارس المتعاونة معها للقيام بمهمة الإعداد. ويشدد البحث على أهمية اعتماد قواعد جديدة لاختيار المرشحين لدخول مهنة التعليم مع السعي لتجديد برامج إعداد المعلمين في المستوى الجامعي بصورة مستمرة وتشجيع التعليم الذاتي للطالب المعلم. ويبرز البحث كذلك أهمية اعتماد إجراءات أصبحت شائعة في البلدان المتقدمة مثل الترخيص لممارسة مهنة التعليم، وإجازة برامج الإعداد، ومعايير الترقي المهني للمعلمين، ويدعو أخيراً إلى إنشاء مركز متخصص بالبحث في تقنيات التعلم والتعليم وكيفية تكوين المعلم العربي الجديد. Preparing Arab Teachers for the 3rd Millennium: Trends & Challenges سنة النشر: 2007 المؤلف: جرار، سمير المؤلف المؤسسي: Lebanese Association for Educational Studies (LAES) The chapter outlines the challenges and trends in teacher preparation in Arab states. The need is to improve instruction and raise its quality in the knowledge-based societies. After discussing the history of teacher preparation in Arab countries, the author advocates a re-examination of the training process, so that it conforms to new visions of education and the ever changing role of the teacher. He also advocates partnerships between Faculties of Education and schools, so that they can carry out the task of preparation. The chapter stresses the importance of adopting new criteria for accepting newcomers to the teaching profession; seeking to renew teacher training programs at the university level on a continuing basis. The author highlights the importance of adopting measures that have become common, such as teacher certification and program accreditation, training programs and promotion and setting standards for teachers. Finally, it calls for establishing a research center specialized in teaching and instructional methods. The center will produce professional models for preparing teachers.

교육의 생태환경적 전환과 지리교육에서의 방향성 탐색 (한국지리학회지; Vol. 13, No. 3) سنة النشر: 2024 المؤلف: 김다원 المؤلف المؤسسي: 한국지리학회 오늘날 지리교육에서 생태환경적 전환 교육은 ‘생태시민으로서 자신과 사회의 웰빙과 공존을 위한 지속가능한 세계’를 위한 과업적 역할이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 전제를 토대로 본 연구에서는 UNESCO, OECD에서 미래 교육으로 제시하고 있는 교육의 방향에서 생태환경적 접근 교육의 필요성과 내용을 분석하였고, 최근 2022년에 개정한 오스트레일리아 지리교육과정과 2023년에 개정한 캐나다의 온타리오 주 지리교육과정을 중심으로 지리교육에서 생태환경적 접근 교육의 방향성을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 지리교육에서 생태환경적 접근 교육의 실행 방향성으로 다섯 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 생태역량 함양의 교육, 둘째, 변혁적 역량과 행위 주체성 함양 교육, 셋째, 지속가능성을 토대로 미래 세계를 예측하고 상상할 수 있는 교육으로 확장, 넷째, 기후변화 대응, 생물, 생태계 등을 포함한 자연환경 교육의 강화, 다섯째, 생태환경적 접근 교육에서 지역적 관점의 적용을 통해 현실성과 실효성 면에서 지리교육의 기여를 제시하였다. 
Education in Contexts of Cultural Diversity: A Study on Brazilian Educators (Iberoamerican Journal of Education; vol. 85, no. 2) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Valentín Martínez-Otero Pérez المؤلف المؤسسي: Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) This article is interested in education in contexts of cultural diversity and the perspective of educators on their training needs. An ad hoc designed questionnaire was used and a mixed, quantitative and qualitative method was chosen. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 237 Brazilian educators. The results reveal that attention to cultural diversity plays an important role in educational activity. Educators, as a whole, are sensitive to cultural diversity and its promotion, but the intercultural training received is insufficient. Little family participation is encouraged, resources are scarce and the intercultural dimension lacks pedagogical systematization. La educación en contextos de diversidad cultural: un estudio sobre educadores brasileños (Revista Ibero-americana de Educação; vol. 85, núm. 2) سنة النشر: 2021 المؤلف: Valentín Martínez-Otero Pérez المؤلف المؤسسي: Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (OEI) Este artículo se interesa por la educación en contextos de diversidad cultural y por la perspectiva de los educadores sobre sus necesidades formativas. Se utilizó un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc y se opta por un método mixto, cuantitativo y cualitativo. El cuestionario se aplicó a una muestra de 237 educadores brasileños. Los resultados revelan que la atención a la diversidad cultural ocupa un papel importante en la actividad educativa. Los educadores, en su conjunto, son sensibles a la diversidad cultural y a su fomento, pero la formación intercultural recibida es insuficiente. Se fomenta poco la participación familiar, los recursos escasean y la dimensión intercultural carece de sistematización pedagógica.
