Humanistic Futures of Learning: Perspectives from UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Networks سنة النشر: 2020 المؤلف المؤسسي: UNESCO UNESCO’s Futures of Education initiative aims to rethink education and shape the future. The initiative is catalyzing a global debate on how knowledge, education and learning need to be reimagined in a world of increasing complexity, uncertainty and precarity. This publication presents the first curated input to the Futures of Education initiative from the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, which now represents an extensive global network of more than 800 higher education institutions in over 115 countries. It features think pieces that highlight key dimensions to be considered in re-visioning and re-purposing education for the future of humanity and the planet. The collection of the pieces calls for greater focus on a number of critical areas such as: The role of culture in strengthening social and environmental sustainability; the values and attitudes that are needed to shape future generations; the importance of both robust public education, as well as of other learning spaces; the need to strengthen human creativity and capability in the digital era, as well as the role of higher education in generating the knowledge and driving the innovation required to transform our world.

En primer lugar, ofrecer un panorama de la situación de la primera infancia antes de la pandemia en América Latina, que permita identificar vulnerabilidades y riesgos del entorno físico-social que rodea a niños y niñas, y que pueden ser exacerbados por la pandemia y/o por las medidas adoptadas para contenerla. Para esto se presentan indicadores comparables, intentando priorizar al niño y a la niña como unidad principal de análisis. Asimismo, se usa la información más reciente de UNICEF y UNESCO para hacer seguimiento a la niñez en el periodo de afectación por la pandemia de la COVID-19. En segundo lugar, esta publicación busca identificar las principales respuestas de políticas públicas orientadas a garantizar el bien-estar de la primera infancia en la región, enfatizando en las estrategias implementadas por los gobiernos para continuar brindando servicios de cuidado y educación inicial en el contexto de la actual emergencia sanitaria

[Résumé] Rapport de situation 2020 sur la prévention de la violence à l’encontre des enfants dans le monde سنة النشر: 2020 المؤلف المؤسسي: World Health Organization (WHO) Le Rapport de situation 2020 sur la violence à l’encontre des enfants dans le monde présente les progrès accomplis par les pays en vue d’atteindre les ODD visant à mettre un terme à la violence dont sont victimes les enfants. Publié conjointement par l’OMS, l’UNICEF, l’UNESCO, le Représentant spécial du Secrétaire général de l’ONU chargé de la question de la violence contre les enfants et le Partenariat mondial pour mettre fin à la violence envers les enfants, il rassemble les contributions de plus d’un millier de décideurs de 155 pays qui ont évalué la situation de leur pays en matière de prévention de la violence à la lumière des approches basées sur des données factuelles proposées dans le cadre d’INSPIRE, un ensemble de sept stratégies pour mettre fin à la violence à l’encontre des enfants. Le rapport montre que si de nombreux pays ayant participé à l’enquête prennent des mesures, les autorités gouvernementales de ces mêmes pays reconnaissent que leurs efforts sont clairement insuffisants pour atteindre les cibles des ODD.
