International Youth White Paper on Global Citizenship سنة النشر: 2017 المؤلف المؤسسي: Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Research (CGCER) | Centre for Global Education (CGE) The paper aims to mobilize, connect and amplify the voices and actions of youth from across the globe on GCED. The Centre provided feedback on the draft of the initial framework and activities for the project in November, 2016 and provided funds to help support the travel and participation of several students at UNESCO Education Week. Ten of these youth presented the International Global Citizenship White Paper, discussing both the content and the process.The paper identifies three pillars that these youth feel define global citizenship and make it accessible to everyone: deep listening to others, self-reflexivity and engaged actions within a global community. These double as important features of educating for pluralism. The paper focuses on three themes: 1) interconnection and complexity; 2) diversity and difference; 3) community, relationality and compassion.

By analysing and comparing Mattias Grünewald’s Isenheim Altarpiece, and the Keiskamma Altarpiece, students will gain an understanding of how art can uplift and empower communities in need. The lesson is based on the story, ‘Tapestries for Hope: Promoting Healthy and Vibrant Communities in the Eastern Cape of South Africa’, written by Annette Wentworth for Keiskamma Canada Foundation, a charitable organization based in Edmonton, as part of the Together: Alberta’s Notebook on the Global Goals. 
Pointed: High School Poetry Lesson Plan سنة النشر: 2019 المؤلف المؤسسي: Alberta Council for Global Cooperation (ACGC) In this lesson, students will read and analyse the poem “Pointed” by Edmonton-based poet and scientist, Nermeen Youssef. Students will extend their learning through creating their own piece exploring inequities they see or face in health care services locally and globally.
