The article analyzes the ways of interdependent development of the art of national theater in the stages of socio-economic development of the peoples in Central Asia. At the same time, the author pays special attention to the development of national theatrical art in Uzbekistan and neighboring countries. Also, the peculiarities of the popularity of theaters among the population during the years of independence have been analyzed.
