The quarantine period in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic caused the need for a radical transformation of the higher education system, its new paradigm in modern digital society. In such conditions, it becomes necessary to form a digital educational environment, and many countries, including the Republic of Uzbekistan, have faced this task. Students need to develop skills in working with information, in particular, the use of information and communication technologies in the process of solving cognitive tasks and performing creative tasks in cognitive and educational activities. Период карантина в связи с пандемией COVID-19 вызвали необходимость кардинальной трансформации системы высшего образования, её новой парадигмы в современном цифровом обществе. В таких условиях появляется необходимость формирования цифровой образовательной среды, с этой задачей столкнулись многие страны, в том числе и Республика Узбекистан. У обучающихся необходимо формировать навыки работы с информацией, в частности, использование средств информационных и коммуникационных технологий в процессе решения познавательных задач и выполнения творческих заданий в познавательной и учебной деятельности. 
The Issues of Improving the Inclusive Education System in Uzbekistan (Open Education; vol. 26, no. 2) Year of publication: 2022 Author: Makhmutkhodjaeva L.S. The article explores the experience of foreign and Central Asian countries in developing inclusive education. Especially, the situation with the education of persons with disabilities in Uzbekistan is being reviewed, besides, the access of children to get an education, as well as receiving vocational and higher education is being studied in addition to the legislative framework in this specialty. It is noted that the problem of education for disabled people is one of the central issues for the republic. В статье исследуется опыт зарубежных стран и стран Центральной Азии в развитии инклюзивного образования. Отдельно рассматривается ситуация с обучение лиц с инвалидностью в Узбекистане, анализируется доступ детей к получению образования, а также получение профессионального и высшего образования, изучается законодательная база в этом направлении. Отмечается, что проблема образования лиц с ограниченными возможностями здоровья является одной из центральных вопросов для республики.
