This progress report of the Coalition builds on documents published in September 2020, March 2021, and March 2023 and covers activity between March 2023 and March 2024. Four years in and moving into its fifth, the Coalition works together to ensure all learners are empowered equally in and through education.

Он должен включать в себя этику заботы о людях, взаимности и солидарности. Он должен укреплять позиции образования как общественного дела и общего блага.Этот доклад, который готовился два года на основе глобального процесса консультаций с участием миллиона человек, предлагает правительствам, учреждениям, организациям и гражданам всего мира разработать новый общественный договор в области образования, который поможет нам построить мирное, справедливое и устойчивое будущее, отвечающее всеобщим интересам.Представленные здесь концепции, принципы и предложения являются лишь отправной точкой. Их воплощение в практику в конкретных условиях – это коллективная работа. Уже есть много положительных моментов, и в настоящем докладе предпринята попытка их отразить и развить. Это не инструкция и не план, а начало жизненно важного разговора. 
3rd Meeting of the SDG-Education 2030 Steering Committee, 29-30 June 2017, United Nations, New York: meeting report Year of publication: 2017 Corporate author: UNESCO An inclusive high-level multi-stakeholder partnership, the SDG-Education 2030 Steering Committee (SC) provides a global forum for consultation and a mechanism to coordinate and harmonize global education efforts. It is mandated to provide strategic guidance to Member States and the education community, make recommendations for catalytic action, advocate for adequate financing, and monitor progress toward SDG4 targets through the UNESCO Institute for Statistics and the Global Educational Monitoring (GEM) Report. The 3 rd meeting of the SC was organized in New York on 29-30 June 2017 back to back with the HighLevel Action SDG Action Event on Education convened by the President of the UN General Assembly, Peter Thompson, in partnership with key SDG 4 stakeholders, to drive a new push for inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities. At this meeting the SC examined successes and challenges in the implementation of SDG4 since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda. After highlighting the critical role of regional organizations as policy peer learning mechanisms in enhancing effective implementation of SDG4-Education 2030, the SC endorsed a set of recommendations for improved implementation in 2018 and 2019.

Reimagining Our Futures Together: A New Social Contract for Education Year of publication: 2021 Corporate author: International Commission on the Futures of Education | UNESCO Our humanity and planet Earth are under threat. The pandemic has only served to prove our fragility and our interconnectedness. Now urgent action, taken together, is needed to change course and reimagine our futures. This report by the International Commission on the Futures of Education acknowledges the power of education to bring about profound change. We face a dual challenge of making good on the unfulfilled promise to ensure the right to quality education for every child, youth and adult and fully realizing the transformational potential of education as a route for sustainable collective futures. To do this, we need a new social contract for education that can repair injustices while transforming the future.This new social contract must be grounded in human rights and based on principles of non-discrimination, social justice, respect for life, human dignity and cultural diversity. It must encompass an ethic of care, reciprocity, and solidarity. It must strengthen education as a public endeavour and a common good.This report, two years in the making and informed by a global consultation process engaging around one million people, invites governments, institutions, organizations and citizens around the world to forge a new social contract for education that will help us build peaceful, just, and sustainable futures for all.The visions, principles, and proposals presented here are merely a starting point. Translating and contextualizing them is a collective effort. Many bright spots already exist. This report attempts to capture and build on them. It is neither a manual nor a blueprint but the opening up of a vital conversation.

Consolidated Report on the Implementation of the 1974 Recommendation Concerning Education for International Understanding, Cooperation and Peace and Education Relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms Year of publication: 2013 Corporate author: UNESCO Background: In accordance with 34 C/Resolution 87, 177 EX/Decision 35 (I) and 184 EX/Decision 20, the Executive Board has monitored the implementation of the 1974 Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Cooperation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. Pursuant to 192 EX/Decision 20 (III), the Director-General hereby submits the consolidated report on the implementation by Member States of the Recommendation.Purpose: This document reports on the results of the Fifth Consultation on the Implementation of the Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Cooperation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (covering the period 2009-2012). The analysis was prepared on the basis of 55 national reports from Member States received by the Secretariat. 
E2030: education and skills for the 21st century, report Year of publication: 2017 Corporate author: UNESCO Santiago The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean, OREALC/UNESCO Santiago, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Sport of the Republic of Argentina, organized the Regional Meeting of Ministers of Education of Latin America and the Caribbean – “E2030: Education and skills for the 21st century”. Ministers of Education and high-level representatives of the education sector of the Member States of LAC; bilateral, regional and multilateral organizations; United Nations agencies; representatives of civil society; stakeholders and UNESCO experts participated in the meeting, which was held on 24-25 January 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was the first ministerial meeting to be organized within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 4 – “Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning”. It provided a space for dialogue between ministers of education and other stakeholders to debate SDG 4 in the context of the 2030 SDG Agenda. Discussions and information sharing on various topics related to the SDG 4 targets, and on the coordination mechanisms and monitoring instruments conducive to the achievement of E2030 enabled LAC Member States to reach a common vision and understanding of E2030 in the region. This joint approach on E2030 for the region is laid down in the Declaration of Buenos Aires, which ministers adopted at the end of the meeting.
