Juraeva | Benjamin Gatling In this article, the authors summarize their observations on the implementation of inclusive education in Tajikistan through the case study of a rural woman and her disabled son. The case study demonstrates a mother's victory over social and structural barriers to the implementation of inclusive education, and shows how community organizations and individual parents can change social policy from within, act in the best interests of their children, and win.

The brief draws from findings of the 2021 and 2022 editions of the INEE Mind the Gap report on the state of girls’ education in emergencies, and from consultations with gender and education experts.

A Diverse World Year of publication: 2023 Corporate author: Entreculturas | European Union (EU) This publication is Entreculturas' pedagogical proposal to educate everyone in global citizenship. It proposes recommendations aimed at incorporating policies and mechanisms to enhance integrity and combat corruption in the subsequent strategic plan. 
Gender and Rural Development in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Key Issues Year of publication: 2016 Corporate author: Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) This report provides a brief overview and description of the critical issues affecting the situation of rural women in the region. This overview has been compiled with the aim of informing all stakeholders and using this information in public campaigns and to achieve greater impact of interventions for development.
