In Quebec, the Association québécoise des organismes de coopération internationale (AQOCI) organizes this public awareness week. CRÉDIL plays an active role in this campaign, and has participated in the production of comic strips as educational tools, such as "La Traversée" in 2021, that attempts to rehumanize our view of border issues and challenges, and offer questions and reflections that touch on the universal. What are we? What is our identity made of? Who gives us the right to have rights? 
Unaccompanied and Separated Children in the Mediterranean Region Year of publication: 2024 Author: Pierre Cazenave Corporate author: International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) | European Union (EU) This work was designed to shed light on past and current dynamics that influence international migration (from and within the region), gather the perspectives and analyse the narratives of Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) in an attempt to understand the reasons that underpin the mobility of unaccompanied and separated children from and within the region, also with a view to provide recommendations on how to better provide for their specific needs in different contexts. The study placed a special emphasis on 3 selected countries in the MENA region (Morocco, Jordan and Lebanon) while valuable information and data gathered in 2 European Union (EU) countries, Greece and Spain, were also used. 
Critical Interculturality and Anti-racism: Tackling Migration and Diversity With Young People Year of publication: 2023 Corporate author: Entreculturas | European Union (EU) Through this guide, educators, teachers, professionals who support youth groups, as well as anyone who works or wants to work with young people on this topic will be able to find useful tools to generate educational spaces from which to build more tolerant societies. It is available in Spanish and English, and in it readers will be able to find key concepts that will help them become familiar with the language and approaches used in matters of migration and diversity, practical tools for working with young groups, as well as self-assessment exercises and reflection questionnaires through which to review their own perspectives on cultural diversity and migration narratives. 
Educational Route: Lessons Learned Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: Save the Children This report, prepared by Save the Children in partnership with HIAS and funded by ECHO, sets out the main lessons learned from the Educational Route project, which has had areas of intervention in Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. The objective of the project has been to contribute to reducing barriers to access to education for children, adolescents and families on the move along the Central American migratory routes. Within the framework of the project, a methodological package has been created containing an evaluation tool “HALDO on the move” (Holistic Assessment of Learning and Development Outcomes) that allows different humanitarian actors to quickly assess the educational level of children and adolescents and record their data on a platform in order to offer an emergency education response adapted to real learning needs, as well as achieve greater coordination to promote educational continuity along the route.

It was produced within the framework of the Seguimos Educando Program, which during 2020 and 2021 allowed, through different means, students to remain in contact with school. On This Journey No One Cares If You Live or Die, Volume 2: Abuse, Protection and Justice Along Routes Between East and West Africa and Africa's Mediterranean Coast Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: International Organization for Migration (IOM) | Mixed Migration Centre | UN. Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) In the complex landscape of migration, this second volume of the report, On This Journey, No One Cares if You Live or Die, emerges as a crucial body of work that sheds light on the stark realities faced by refugees and migrants traversing the perilous Central Mediterranean route all the way from East and Horn of Africa and West Africa to the North African coast of the Mediterranean and across the sea. Jointly published by IOM, MMC and UNHCR, this report delves into the protection risks faced by refugees and migrants during these journeys. It aims to inform increased and concrete routes-based protection responses to reduce the suffering associated with the desperate journeys refugees and migrants undertake, and to serve as a call to action in addressing the root causes of displacement and drivers of irregular migration through positive action on peace, climate change, governance, inequality and social cohesion, as well as the creation of safe migration pathways. 
On This Journey, No One Cares If You Live or Die: Abuse, Protection, and Justice Along Routes Between East and West Africa and Africa’s Mediterranean Coast Year of publication: 2020 Corporate author: UN. Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) | Mixed Migration Centre This report draws on data collected by the Mixed Migration Centre’s 4Mi monitors along the route to map the places where refugees interviewed in 2018 and 2019 most frequently reported deaths, sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), physical violence, and kidnappings occurred. It illustrates how refugees and migrants using the route face a series of risks including as they cross into eastern Sudan, and when crossing the Sahara Desert, and then again in multiple places in Libya. Similarly, those traveling through West Africa reported multiple incidents of physical violence, SGBV, as well as deaths at various points. Refugees and migrants have reported being subjected to brutal violence, including being burnt with hot oil, melted plastic, or heated metal objects, being electrocuted, tied in stress positions, and experiencing and witnessing repeated sexual violence, often in the context of ransom demands. UNHCR staff and partners continue to witness the severe impact these abuses have had on the mental health of many men, women, and children.
