Research in Teaching and Learning About the Holocaust: A Dialogue Beyond Borders Year of publication: 2017 Author: Monique Eckmann | Doyle Stevick | Jolanta Ambrosewicz-Jacobs Corporate author: International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) | Metropol A multilingual expert team of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) collected and reviewed research on teaching and learning about the Holocaust in fifteen languages identified nearly 400 studies resulting in more than 600 publications.This systematic review includes research conducted in most IHRA Member Countries as well as several non-member countries. The multilingual focus of the project enables cross-cultural analyses and the transfer of knowledge between various regions and countries. The book’s two parts present the research first by language and then by selected themes. This innovative transnational, trans-lingual study reflects IHRA’s core mission: to shape and advance teaching and learning about the Holocaust worldwide.The second outcome is a set of bibliographies in fifteen languages. These bibliographies comprise references to empirical research on teaching and learning about the Holocaust. They also include abstracts or summaries of most of publications. Each bibliography includes research from a single language or related group of languages. 
세계시민의식과 도덕 교육의 이론적 관계 정립: 세계시민이론과 중학교 도덕 교육과정 분석 (한국교육; Vol.43, No.3) Year of publication: 2016 Author: 김진희 | 차승한 Corporate author: 한국교육개발원 본 연구는 국제사회에서 세계시민교육이 강조되고 있는 오늘날 세계시민의식과 밀접한 연관을 가지고 있는, 도덕 교육을 통한 세계시민성의 개념 정립이 필요하다는 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 세계시민의식 함양이 도덕교육에 주는 의미를 분석하고, 현행 중학교 도덕 교육에 세계시민의식의 내용을 얼마나 반영되어 있는지 진단하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 칸트, 아렌트, 너스봄, 아피아를 중심으로 세계시민과 도덕의 관계에 대한 이론을 분석하였고, 각 이론에서 중시한 ‘세계관찰자, 도덕적 공동체, 뿌리내린 세계시민’ 담론을 세계시민적 정체성(belonging), 세계시민적 태도(attitude), 세계시민적 개입(engagement)과 연계지어 논리적으로 정련함으로써 도덕 교육에서 세계시민의식을 측정할 수 있는 분석틀을 도출하였다. 분석결과, 세계문제에 대한 다양한 쟁점을 다루는 글로벌 윤리 개념이 세계시민의식과 도덕 교육 사이에서 징검다리 역할을 할 수 있다는 점을 밝혔다. 한국의 현행 도덕 교육과정은 세계시민의식과 관련한 내용을 직간접적으로 반영하고 있으나 ‘공적 영역에 대한 헌신’을 반영하는 내용 요소는 빈약한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 한국교육의 상황에 맞는 세계시민의식의 개념 정립을 위해 학교 교육의 장면 중 중학교 도덕 교육에서 세계시민교육을 내실화하는 단초를 이론적으로 제시하였다. 
Socio-Economic and Cultural Impacts of COVID-19 on Africa: What Responses from UNESCO? Year of publication: 2020 Corporate author: UNESCO This policy paper analyses the socio-economic and cultural impacts of the disease on Africa as a whole, caused by both the immediate effects and the present and future consequences of the pandemic, including on the African societal fabric, which is likely to lead to a fracture in the trust between States and their citizens and within communities themselves. As such, it highlights the main measures that were adopted by African countries to contain the crisis and its socio-economic and cultural effects. While committing to acting and reflecting on the present and future consequences of the pandemic, UNESCO aims to contribute substantially to the ongoing debates in Africa through the development of a strategic response to help the collective global and regional efforts against the pandemic. Ce faisant, elle met en lumière les principales mesures adoptées par les pays africains pour juguler la crise et ses effets socio-économiques et culturelles. Tout en s’engageant dans l’action et dans la réflexion sur les conséquences présentes et futures de la pandémie, l’UNESCO entend ainsi contribuer de manière substantielle aux débats en cours en Afrique à travers en l’articulation d’une réponse stratégique pour apporter sa contribution aux efforts collectifs mondiaux et régionaux de lutte contre la pandémie. 
Culture | 2030 Indicators: Thematic Indicators for Culture in the 2030 Agenda Year of publication: 2019 Corporate author: UNESCO The Culture|2030 Indicators is a framework of thematic indicators whose purpose is to measure and monitor the progress of culture’s enabling contribution to the national and local implementation of the Goals and Targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs). The methodology is developed to assist countries and cities with very different capacities regarding the collection of data and cultural statistics. The evidence gathered will inform policies and decisions as well as operational actions enabling greater investments in culture as a sector of activity and a greater recognition of its transversal role across other sectors. 
Écoles Heureux: Un cadre pour l'apprenant Bien-être dans la région Asie-Pacifique Year of publication: 2016 Corporate author: UNESCO Bangkok Le projet Bonne écoles a été lancé en Juin 2014, le but de promouvoir l'apprenant le bien-être et le développement holistique. Il en résulte sur les résultats de la recherche de l'UNESCO à Bangkok sur «Apprendre à vivre ensemble», qui a examiné la manière dont les systèmes éducatifs peuvent promouvoir la paix par l'éducation dans la région Asie-Pacifique. Bien que le concept de «Apprendre à vivre ensemble» se traduit souvent au niveau politique, il y a peu de preuves quant à la façon dont il est mis en œuvre dans la pratique. Par conséquent, des écoles Heureux vise à identifier et reconnaître les pratiques éprouvées au niveau des écoles qui intègrent ce concept.
