Recorridos nacionales rumbo a la educación para el desarrollo sostenible, 2011: análisis de las experiencias de los países Chile, Indonesia, Kenya, Omán, Países Bajos Year of publication: 2011 Author: I. Mulà | Daniella Tilbury Corporate author: UNESCO This publication has sourced information from a series of national reviews commissioned by UNESCO in 2010 and written by authoritative stakeholders in Chile, Indonesia, Kenya, the Netherlands and Oman. The selection of countries was based on: i) work showcased at the 2009 World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development held in Bonn, Germany; ii) submissions to the monitoring and evaluation process for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD); as well as iii) through evaluation material submitted by UNESCO staff in regional bureaux of education. The countries showcased in this report are not necessarily the ‘best’ examples of the region, as many other countries are also progressing effectively towards implementing ESD. Rather, the countries selected illustrate the wide diversity of ESD approaches and initiatives taking place in different parts of the learnt world. The national studies were then edited and harmonized before common themes and lessons learned were identified to support other national efforts in moving towards the second half of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

Pour marquer le soixante-dixième anniversaire de la Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme, adoptée le 10 décembre 1948, nous avons décidé de faire un détour par le passé, afin de mieux nous orienter dans l’avenir. Ce qui explique le titre de ce numéro : « Retour vers le futur ». Nous sommes donc en 1946. Alors que le spectre de la guerre totale hante tous les esprits, « la communauté internationale a besoin de formuler un énoncé moral qui exprime adéquatement son indignation collective et son espoir (pour utopique qu'il fût) d'un avenir meilleur », explique Mark Goodale, auteur de l’article introductif et consultant pour Grand angle. Un dossier qui dévoile tout un pan méconnu de l’histoire de la Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme : l’enquête mondiale sur les fondements philosophiques des droits de l’homme, décidée lors de la première Conférence générale de l’UNESCO (novembre-décembre 1946), lancée l’année suivante par le premier Directeur général, Julian Huxley, et coordonnée par le jeune philosophe français Jacques Havet. L’UNESCO a réuni autour de ce projet l’élite intellectuelle du monde de l'après-guerre et apporté ainsi une contribution essentielle à la réflexion sur les droits de l’homme. Elle demeure aujourd’hui d’une étonnante actualité. Tout aussi actuels sont les dessins de Notre invité, l’artiste péruvien Fernando Bryce qui puise son inspiration dans cette période historique « où l'idée de progrès ouvrait réellement de multiples perspectives ». Sa série The Book of Needs (Le livre des nécessités), qui transfigure en œuvres d’art des pages du Courrier des années 1948 - 1954, fait l’objet du supplément à ce numéro. Материалы этой рубрики знакомят читателей с малоизвестным фактом из истории Всеобщей декларации прав человека – всемирным опросом, проведенным ЮНЕСКО по инициативе первого Генерального директора Джулиана Хаксли с целью определения философских принципов, лежащих в основе прав человека. Решение о его проведении было принято на 1-й сессии Генеральной конференции ЮНЕСКО, состоявшейся в ноябре-декабре 1946 года, а сам опрос был проведен годом позже. Руководство этим масштабным проектом осуществлял молодой французский философ Жак Аве. В опросе, призванном заложить основы для размышлений о правах человека, приняли участие яркие представители интеллектуальной элиты послевоенного общества. Несмотря на прошедшие с тех пор 70 лет, поднятые в ходе этого проекта вопросы по-прежнему чрезвычайно актуальны. Столь же актуальны и рисунки нашего гостя, перуанского художника Фернандо Брисе, черпающего вдохновение в «том особом периоде, когда идея прогресса действительно открывала многочисленные перспективы». It aims at reorienting education worldwide: everyone should have the opportunity to acquire the values, competencies, skills and knowledge that are needed to contribute to sustainable development. Meeting Our Commitments to Gender Equality in Education: Global Education Monitoring Report Gender Review 2018 Year of publication: 2018 Corporate author: UNESCO The Education 2030 Framework for Action, a tool aimed at helping the international community achieve SDG 4 on education, explicitly recognizes gender equality as a guiding principle linked to the realization of the right to education. It states clearly that girls and boys, women and men, must be equally empowered ‘in and through education’.In this sixth Gender Review, in a series that began in 2011, the Global Education Monitoring Report team maintains the focus on a broad conception of gender equality that extends beyond counting boys and girls in classrooms. The review’s first part examines disparities in participation and skills, in education and political leadership positions, and in selected aspects of infrastructure and curricula. It also examines gender issues in professional development by exploring the role of education in three other SDGs: those concerning agriculture, health, and water and sanitation.The second part of the review analyses institutions, laws and policies to explore ways to determine and enforce accountability for gender equality in education. Cumplir nuestros compromisos de igualdad de género en la educación: Resumen sobre género del informe de seguimiento de la educación en el mundo 2018 Year of publication: 2018 Corporate author: UNESCO El Marco de Acción para la Educación 2030, que es una herramienta encaminada a contribuir a que la comunidad internacional alcance el ODS 4 relativo a la educación, reconoce explícitamente la igualdad de género como un principio rector para la realización del derecho a la educación para todos. Dice claramente que las niñas y los niños, las mujeres y los hombres, deben adquirir las mismas competencias “en la educación y mediante ella”.En este sexto Resumen sobre Género de una serie que se inició en 2011, los autores del Informe de Seguimiento de la Educación en el Mundo siguen centrándose en un concepto amplio de la igualdad de género que va más allá del simple recuento del número de niños y niñas en las aulas.En la primera parte del documento se examinan las disparidades en materia de participación y de competencias, de puestos de dirección de alto nivel en el ámbito educativo y político, y en determinados aspectos de las infraestructuras y los programas de enseñanza. Se examinan asimismo las cuestiones de género en el desarrollo profesional, estudiando el papel de la educación en otros tres ODS, los relativos a la agricultura, la salud, y el agua y saneamiento.En la segunda parte se analizan las instituciones, leyes y políticas, con miras a explorar modalidades que permitan determinar y aplicar la rendición de cuentas en materia de igualdad de género en la educación.
