The purpose of this document is to make available to social organizations, popular educators, teachers, leaders, human rights defenders and facilitators of this training process that has been a communication and popular education initiative to promote community dialogues on non-violent masculinities. The strategy presented here is made up of two inputs: a sound series composed of five chapters and a methodological proposal to address them through community dialogue exercises.

Gender and Recovery Toolkit: Advancing Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in Crisis and Recovery Settings; Updated 2024 Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) The Gender and Recovery toolkit is a practical resource in the hands of UNDP personnel to help government, civil society and other partners put gender equality at the core of immediate and long-term recovery processes. It shows how to incorporate gender perspectives and women’s participation throughout the recovery programme cycle – from assessment, strategic planning and framing of results to budgeting and implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.The toolkit emphasizes the need to address the root causes of gender inequality and fragility by transforming power dynamics. It advocates for approaches that go beyond increasing women’s representation, focusing on tackling masculinities and reshaping institutions, behaviors, and norms. It underscores the importance of holistic strategies to address the interconnected challenges of climate change, peacebuilding, and gender equality in crisis contexts, highlighting the role of technology and innovative programming in empowering women. The seven guidance notes and tip sheets incorporate recent updates to global policy frameworks with updated indicators and robust data sources. While primarily designed for UNDP practitioners, this resource is valuable for all partners in crisis and recovery settings.
Training Package on Inclusive Education and Disability Year of publication: 2022 Corporate author: United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) The comprehensive training package on inclusive education for children and young people with disabilities was developed as part of a partnership between the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support and disseminate inclusive education.This training package is directed explicitly to educators in the Arab region, at the local, national, or regional levels, whether in the private or public sectors, including teachers and decision-makers working in the entire educational sector and to those wishing to expand their knowledge in the field of inclusive education.
مدخل إلى الرزمة التدريبية حول التعليم الدامج الشامل والإعاقة Year of publication: 2022 Corporate author: United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) أُعدّت هذه الدورة التدريبية حول التعليم الدامج للأطفال وذوي الإعاقة في إطار شراكة بين لجنة الأمم المتّحدة الاقتصاديّة والاجتماعيّة لغربي آسيا (الإسكوا) ومنظّمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو)، وبدعم من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية. تتناول الدورة قضايا السياسات التعليمية الشاملة، وتعزيز جودة التعليم، وضمان مشاركة جميع الأطفال في المدرسة، ووضع الطفل المتعلّم في صلب العمليّة التربويّة. وهي تركّز بشكل خاصّ على الأطفال الأكثر عرضة لخطر التسرّب المدرسيّ وعلى المدارس الواقعة في المناطق الأكثر حرماناً. الدورة موجهة إلى العاملين والعاملات في المجال التربوي في المنطقة العربية، في القطاعين الخاص والعام وعلى مختلف الصعد المحلية والوطنية والإقليمية، من معلمين ومعلمات وصانعي وصانعات قرار على مستوى الفصل أو المدرسة أو القطاع التعليمي ككلّ، وإلى الراغبين في تعزيز معرفتهم في مجال التعليم الدامج.
