Conférence mondiale sur l’éducation et la protection de la petite enfance: Déclaration de Tachkent et engagements à l’action pour la transformation de l’éducation et la protection de la petite enfance, 16 novembre 2022 Year of publication: 2022 Corporate author: UNESCO Du 14 au 16 novembre 2022, la deuxième Conférence mondiale sur l'éducation et la prise en charge de la petite enfance s'est tenue à Tachkent, en Ouzbékistan. Plus de 2 600 participants issus de 147 États membres, dont des ministres, des partenaires de développement, des praticiens, des scientifiques, la société civile et des organisations privées, se sont réunis pour réaffirmer le droit de chaque jeune enfant à un développement, une prise en charge et une éducation de qualité dès la petite enfance.La Déclaration de Tachkent et les engagements pour l'action visant à transformer l'éducation et la prise en charge de la petite enfance (ECCE) établissent les principes directeurs et les stratégies pour la transformation urgente de l'ECCE, afin d'accélérer la réalisation de la cible 4.2 des ODD. Ils définissent également des actions concrètes pour les États membres, la communauté internationale, les organisations non gouvernementales et l'UNESCO, qui feront l'objet d'un suivi, d'une révision et d'une évaluation réguliers. Более 2600 участников конференции из 147 государств-членов, включая министров, партнеров по развитию, практиков, ученых, представителей гражданского общества и частных организаций, собрались вместе, чтобы подтвердить право каждого маленького ребенка на качественное развитие, уход и образование в раннем детстве. UNESCO Futures of Education Report Explained by Members of the International Commission Year of publication: 2022 Corporate author: UNESCO Initiated by UNESCO, the International Commission on the Futures of Education has prepared a new report on how education can best shape the future of humanity and the planet. In this video, members of the Commission and its chair explain the main recommendations and defining features of their report, Reimagining our futures together: A new social contract for education. The report is part of UNESCO’s Futures of Education initiative which aims to rethink education and shape the future. The initiative is catalyzing a global debate on how knowledge, education and learning need to be reimagined in a world of increasing complexity, uncertainty, and precarity.

The pandemic has only served to prove our fragility and our interconnectedness. Now urgent action, taken together, is needed to change course and reimagine our futures. This report by the International Commission on the Futures of Education acknowledges the power of education to bring about profound change. We face a dual challenge of making good on the unfulfilled promise to ensure the right to quality education for every child, youth and adult and fully realizing the transformational potential of education as a route for sustainable collective futures. To do this, we need a new social contract for education that can repair injustices while transforming the future.This new social contract must be grounded in human rights and based on principles of non-discrimination, social justice, respect for life, human dignity and cultural diversity. It must encompass an ethic of care, reciprocity, and solidarity. It must strengthen education as a public endeavour and a common good.This report, two years in the making and informed by a global consultation process engaging around one million people, invites governments, institutions, organizations and citizens around the world to forge a new social contract for education that will help us build peaceful, just, and sustainable futures for all.The visions, principles, and proposals presented here are merely a starting point. Translating and contextualizing them is a collective effort. Many bright spots already exist. This report attempts to capture and build on them. It is neither a manual nor a blueprint but the opening up of a vital conversation.

La pandemia solo ha servido para demostrar nuestra fragilidad y nuestra interconexión. Ahora es necesario actuar urgentemente, de forma conjunta, para cambiar el rumbo y reimaginar nuestros futuros. Este informe de la Comisión Internacional sobre los Futuros de la Educación reconoce el poder de la educación para provocar un cambio profundo. Nos enfrentamos a un doble reto: cumplir la promesa de garantizar el derecho a una educación de calidad para todos los niños, jóvenes y adultos, y aprovechar plenamente el potencial transformador de la educación como vía para un futuro colectivo sostenible. Para ello, necesitamos un nuevo contrato social para la educación que pueda reparar las injusticias, al tiempo que transforma el futuro. Este nuevo contrato social debe basarse en los derechos humanos y en los principios de no discriminación, justicia social, respeto a la vida, dignidad humana y diversidad cultural. Debe incluir una ética de cuidado, reciprocidad y solidaridad. Debe reforzar la educación como un proyecto público y un bien común. Este informe, que se ha elaborado en dos años y se ha basado en un proceso de consulta mundial en el que han participado alrededor de un millón de personas, invita a gobiernos, instituciones, organizaciones y ciudadanos de todo el mundo a forjar un nuevo contrato social para la educación que nos ayude a construir un futuro pacífico, justo y sostenible para todos. Las visiones, los principios y las propuestas que aquí se presentan deben considerarse simplemente un punto de partida. Traducirlos y contextualizarlos es un esfuerzo colectivo. Existen ya muchos aspectos positivos. Este informe intenta recogerlos y aprovecharlos. No se trata de un manual ni de un modelo, sino de un punto de partida para una conversación fundamental. 
Guidelines for the governance of digital platforms: safeguarding freedom of expression and access to information through a multi-stakeholder approach Year of publication: 2023 Corporate author: UNESCO Guidelines for an Internet for TrustSafeguarding freedom of expression and the right to information while dealing with dis- and misinformation, hate speech, and conspiracy theories requires a multistakeholder approach. This is the reason why UNESCO, the leading UN agency for the promotion and protection of freedom of expression and to information, is launching Guidelines for the Governance of Digital Platforms. The Guidelines outline a set of duties, responsibilities and roles for States, digital platforms, intergovernmental organizations, civil society, media, academia, the technical community and other stakeholders to enable the environment where freedom of expression and information are in the core of digital platforms governance processes. The Guidelines were produced through a multi-stakeholder consultation that gathered more than 10,000 comments from 134 countries. These global-scale consultations fostered inclusive participation, ensuring a diversity of voices to be heard, including those from groups in situation of marginalization and vulnerability. Cultivating an Internet of Trust is a shared responsibility among all stakeholders. It calls upon us all to sustain an enabling environment for freedom of expression and the right to information. 
No Fear at School: Prevention of Violence Against Children in Educational Settings; Colombia Country Report Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: Aulas en Paz | Red Papaz This report presents an overview of progress in preventing and responding to violence against children and adolescents (NNA) in educational settings in Colombia, using the framework developed by Safe to Learn. This document is part of the initiatives led by the Latin American Hub for the Prevention of Violence Against Children in Schools, in which six Latin American countries participate and which is coordinated by Aulas en Paz.
