Violence Against Women and Girls: Kyrgyz Republic (Gender in Society Perception Study; Oct. 2018) Year of publication: 2018 Author: Elena Kim Corporate author: United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) This report is part of the Gender in the Perception of Society (GSPS) study, funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund, jointly run by UN Women, UNFPA and IOM in the Kyrgyz Republic. The report on the results of the study is dedicated to the topic of violence against women through the prism of two types of widespread practice of forced marriage in the Kyrgyz Republic. The report, which consists of two main sections, focuses on the practice of abducting brides and child marriages. The report attempts to explain the attitude and reaction of society to both phenomena, which deprive women of their rights and opportunities and require changes in opinions, attitudes and institutional priorities. 
Kyrgyz Republic Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2023: Snapshots of Key Findings July, 2024 Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic | UNICEF Kyrgyzstan | United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) | United States Agency for International Development (USAID) | Government of Switzerland The 5th round of Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) covers 7,200 households across Kyrgyzstan, measuring 185 indicators related to healthcare, education, and social protection for women and children. MICS 2023 produced data for 32 global Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators, disaggregated by key characteristics such as gender, age, geographic location, income level and disability.

Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) The analytical review includes brief information on the legislative bases of statistics in the field of gender discrimination, violence, and human trafficking, as well as departmental regulations regulating the collection of statistics on this issue in state statistics bodies, the judicial system, internal affairs bodies, health authorities, prosecutors, the penitentiary service, crisis centers and courts of elders. The analysis makes it possible to understand what information flows in the field of gender discrimination, violence, and human trafficking exist in the authorized bodies state bodies, what indicators are collected in them, and how statistics are generated at the national level. For each authorized state body, the structure of the information system, the movement of information flows, and a list of indicators on gender-based crimes, family violence, and human trafficking are given.
