On Global Citizenship Education in Perspective of “Multiculturalism” Year of publication: 2011 Author: Wang Haiying | WU Minghai Under multicultural circumstances,global citizenship education is identity recognition of ethnic groups by mutual acknowledgment of the states. It is respect for multiculturalism in unity and pursuit of unity under multiculturalism. In global citizenship education, the value of equality,respect,tolerance and understanding should be advocated. The prerequisite to identity of ethnic groups and balance in diversity in China is to preserve national territory integrity and ideological unity. This article believe that cultivating global citizens not only is a trend, but also is an important result of globalization.    The Symbiosis Relationship Between Ethnic Identity and National Identity in School Education Field: A Case Study Of Axi Yi High School Students in Yunnan (Journal of Research on Education for Ethnic Minorities; Vol. 28, No. 141) Year of publication: 2017 Author: Chen Yukui Corporate author: Minzu University of China This paper uses educational anthropolog to examine and analyse ethnic identity and national identity of ethnic Axi Yi high school students. It finds that they have both very strong ethnic and national identities, and there is a moderate positive correlation between the two identities. This shows that the two identities can coexist harmoniously for ethnic minorities. This paper also finds that the symbiosis relationship between students’ ethnic identity and national identity is built on common foundations, such as common territorial awareness, common consanguinity,common historical memory,common heroic characters and common national symbols. This paper argues that schools are the important place where those common foundations are built.  Private Sector Awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals: A Survey Report On Business and Sustainability in China Year of publication: 2020 Corporate author: UNDP China This report serves as a baseline analysis of business awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its findings provide insight on how best to gear businesses towards the SDGs and the challenges that must be overcome to do so.  Research Report on Basic Education Policies for Ethnic Minorities in China Year of publication: 2010 Corporate author: UNESCO Beijing  This  report is a survey of the implementation of basic education policy research towards ethnic minority in the framework of "Improving the educational level and culturally sensitive education of ethnic minority groups". In 2010, based on the text analysis report of the basic education policy which has been formulated and implemented for ethnic minorities by the Chinese government, the objectives and tasks of the field research were determined. The field research was conducted on the twelve project sites of three provinces. Through field investigations and questonnaire surveys, six research groups completed twelve case study reports. In the spirit of “Changing the minds, not the climate”, UNESCO has been committed to empowering the young generation to tackle climate change, supported by its robust networks in education, sciences, culture, communication and information.In June 2022, the first phase (2022-2025) of the “Accelerating Carbon Neutrality: Innovative Actions for Sustainable Development” project was officially launched under the sponsorship of the China Youth Development Foundation-MercedesBenz Star Fund. Practice all over the world shows that enhancing digital citizenship is an effective way to solve these problems. In order to call for emphasis on digital citizenship, this paper discussed its theoretical basis and training system in detail. Specifically, it firstly defined the concept of digital citizenship, then comprehensively discussed the content of digital citizenship through literature research, which constituted four first-level content indicators and eleven sub-indicators. After clarifying the connotation and extension of digital citizenship, this paper continued to  discuss its uniqueness and irreplaceability, so as to highlight its necessity. Then the importance and meaning of implementing digital citizenship education were stated respectively. Based upon this theoretical foundation and our national conditions, a three-oriented digital citizenship training system was finally proposed. Research on Digital Competence of EU Citizens: A Comparative Analysis Based on the Dig Comp1.0, 2.0 and 2.1 (International and Comparative Education; No. 6) Year of publication: 2020 Author: Zheng Xudong | Fan Xiaoyu Corporate author: Beijing Normal University The explosive development of digital technology has revolutionized the competences of social citizens. In 2006, EU proposed digital competence, based on it, EU established A Framework for Developing and Understanding Digital Competence in Europe (Dig Comp 1.0). After releasing two revisions of Dig Comp 1.0, the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (Dig Comp 2.1) was officially released in 2017. Compared with the former versions, Dig Comp 2.1 expanded digital competences areas, revised the competences names, no longer described the specific competences from KSA (knowledge, skill and attitude) perspective, and the proficiency of the competences were divided into more detailed 8 proficiency level. The Dig Comp 2.1 contained the following values: a. the transformation of the concept of digital citizenship education; b. paying attention to the competences of complex problem solving and innovation; c. looking forward to the future development of intelligent society; d. supporting the development of lifelong learning and developing qualified digital citizens. Dig Comp 2.1 has enlightenment for building a learning society in China, and that of improving the digital competences of Chinese citizens.
