민주시민육성을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육 방안 연구 Year of publication: 2019 Author: 김현진 | 김현영 | 김은영 | 최미애 Corporate author: 한국교육학술정보원 본 연구는 먼저, 국내외 민주시민 교육 및 미디어 리터러시 교육관련 사례 및 연구보고, 정책현황분석에 근거하여 민주시민육성을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육 시사점을 도출하였다. 다음으로 2015 개정교육과정 내용체계 및 성취기준에 근거하여 민주시민육성을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육이 정규 교과에 통합될 수 있도록 ‘학습주제사전’과 ‘교육과정 연계 성취기준’을 개발하였다. 마지막으로 국내외 사례 및 연구보고 현황 분석, 현장교사 및 전문가 협의회에 근거하여 민주시민육성을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육의 정규교과 통합 활성화 방안 및 정책 제언을 도출하였다. 본 저작물은 한국교육학술정보원에서 2019년 작성하여 공공누리 제 1유형으로 개방한 ‘민주시민육성을 위한 미디어 리터러시 교육 방안 연구(김현진 외)’을 이용하였으며 해당 저작물은 한국교육학술정보원(www.keris.or.kr)에서 무료로 다운받으실 수 있습니다.

Media Literacy in Finland: National Media Education Policy Year of publication: 2019 Corporate author: European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (Austria) | UNESCO Media literacy in Finland is the media literacy policy and the national media education policy document, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019. The document updates and extends the cultural policy guidelines for media literacy published in 2013. The need to update the policy arose from the changes that have taken place in media culture and the broader than before target groups of media education in particular. The Program of the Government also highlights the need for media skills for all age groups, from children to seniors. The vision of the policy is to improve everyone’s opportunities to develop their media literacy. 핀란드의 미디어 리터러시: 국가 미디어교육 정책 Year of publication: 2019 Corporate author: Finand. Ministry of Education and Culture 《핀란드의 미디어 리터러시》는 교육문화부에서 2019년 발간한 미디어 리터러시 정책 및 국가 미디어교육 정책 문서를 한국어로 번역한 자료이다. 이 문서는 2013년에 발간된 미디어 리터러시 가이드라인을 개정하고 확장한 것이다. 미디어 문화가 변화하고 미디어교육 대상 집단이 이전보다 확대되면서 정책 개정의 필요성이 대두됐다. 정부 정책 프로그램(The Program of the Government) 역시 아동에서부터 노년까지 모든 연령 집단에서 미디어 기량(media skills)이 필요함을 강조했다. 이 정책의 목표는 모든 사람이 미디어 리터러시를 개발할 기회를 늘리는 것이다.

Methodology: Using Digital Media for Youth Engagement and Active Citizenship Year of publication: 2017 Corporate author: Yep4Europe Consortium The training methodology “Find-Tell-Act” is the main output of the Youth e-Perspectives on Migration project. The project aimed at empowering young people to address sensitive contemporary societal issues (in our case migration and the refugee crisis) and at the same time to improve their digital and media skills. In this way, digital and technical skills developed in parallel with social values like active citizenship.The main part of the methodology is, implemented as face-to-face activities. It includes four interrelated digital media modules (or as we call them, workshops): Digital Journalism, Digital Photography, Digital Storytelling and Online Platforms, in which refugee crisis was our main theme. The methodology can be applied to any other “hot” societal topic that young people are faced with. 
Citizenship and Lifelong Learning Monitor 2018 Year of publication: 2019 Author: Sara Gharsalli Corporate author: SOLIDAR Foundation This Monitor is a contribution to further examine the relationship between citizenship and lifelong learning experiences and policy outcomes in and outside of the classroom in various European countries. Mapping the different approaches that SOLIDAR Foundation members have taken in promoting EU values in relation to citizenship education and lifelong learning for greater democratic participation of citizens, the outcomes will be disseminated towards European and national policy-makers and offers an array of best practices to collect, use and transfer among networks. The SOLIDAR Education and Lifelong Learning Forum will further work on the topic and develop a long term sustainable advocacy strategy for CSOs towards national and EU-wide authorities to influence the debate and revision of national curricula and education systems.
