In recent years, the author has made some research on the practice of civic education in today’s society, especially on the practice of civic education in rural middle schools.
如何有效地实践公民教育 Year of publication: 2016 Author: Wang Juchun Corporate author: Management Office of National Teacher Research Fund 公民教育已经不是新鲜的命题,但作为校本建设框架内的命题却出现较晚。校本化教学和实践的方法更是五花八门,面对如此复杂宏观的命题, 对于基层实践者来说要想真正推进公民教育实践,是个不小的挑战。笔者近年来,对当今社会公民教育实践进行了一定的研究,特别是对公民教育在农村中学的实践做了一系列实践摸索。现将我的一些理解简述如下。
Research in Teaching and Learning About the Holocaust: A Dialogue Beyond Borders Year of publication: 2017 Author: Monique Eckmann | Doyle Stevick | Jolanta Ambrosewicz-Jacobs Corporate author: International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) | Metropol A multilingual expert team of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) collected and reviewed research on teaching and learning about the Holocaust in fifteen languages identified nearly 400 studies resulting in more than 600 publications.This systematic review includes research conducted in most IHRA Member Countries as well as several non-member countries. The multilingual focus of the project enables cross-cultural analyses and the transfer of knowledge between various regions and countries. The book’s two parts present the research first by language and then by selected themes. This innovative transnational, trans-lingual study reflects IHRA’s core mission: to shape and advance teaching and learning about the Holocaust worldwide.The second outcome is a set of bibliographies in fifteen languages. These bibliographies comprise references to empirical research on teaching and learning about the Holocaust. They also include abstracts or summaries of most of publications. Each bibliography includes research from a single language or related group of languages.

Les futurs humanistes de l’apprentissage: Perspectives des chaires UNESCO et des réseaux UNITWIN Year of publication: 2020 Corporate author: UNESCO L’initiative de l’UNESCO intitulée Les futurs de l’éducation vise à repenser l’éducation et à façonner l’avenir, en lançant un débat mondial sur la manière de réinventer le savoir, l’éducation et l’apprentissage dans un monde de plus en plus complexe, incertain et précaire. Le présent volume constitue la première collection de contributions soumises à l’initiative Les Futurs de l’éducation de l’UNESCO par le Programme des chaires UNESCO/UNITWIN, un vaste réseau mondial regroupant plus de 800 établissements d’enseignement supérieur dans plus de 115 pays. Les documents de réflexion qu’il contient mettent en évidence les dimensions essentielles à prendre en compte pour ré-imaginer et redéfinir l’éducation dans l’intérêt de l’avenir de l’humanité et de la planète. Cette collection appelle à insister davantage sur un certain nombre de domaines critiques tels que le rôle de la culture dans le renforcement de la durabilité sociale et environnementale, les valeurs et les attitudes nécessaires pour préparer les générations futures, l’importance d’une éducation publique et robuste, ainsi que d’autres espaces d’apprentissage, la nécessité de renforcer la créativité et les capacités humaines à l’ère numérique, ainsi que le rôle de l’enseignement supérieur concernant la génération des savoirs et la conduite de l’innovation nécessaire pour transformer notre monde.
Renforcer l’engagement citoyen pour la transition écologique, solidaire et démocratique en France et dans le monde à horizon 2030 : Le rôle essentiel de l’éducation à la citoyenneté et à la solidarité internationale Year of publication: 2021 Corporate author: Groupe de concertation sur l’Éducation à la citoyenneté et à la solidarité internationale (ECSI) | Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Le groupe de concertation sur l’Éducation à la citoyenneté et à la solidarité internationale (ECSI) est un espace de dialogue et de partage d’expériences créé en 2017. Il réunit des représentants d’associations, de quatre ministères, de l’Agence française de développement, de collectivités territoriales et de réseaux régionaux multi-acteurs. Ces institutions et organisations représentent une grande diversité d’approches, d’actions et de publics, et se retrouvent dans une mission commune : favoriser la contribution individuelle et collective à la construction d’une société juste, solidaire et durable par l’éducation et l’ECSI.Les membres de ce groupe ont produit un argumentaire commun, finalisé en novembre 2020, détaillant les raisons pour lesquelles l’ECSI doit constituer une priorité des politiques publiques et une composante essentielle des actions des organisations.

It goes to the fighters who are desperate and overwhelmed in face of complex challenges and are worn out by their struggle for justice and change – to find inspiration, energy and courage to treat ourselves gently, to let go and to make space for new things to emerge.
Methodology: Using Digital Media for Youth Engagement and Active Citizenship Year of publication: 2017 Corporate author: Yep4Europe Consortium The training methodology “Find-Tell-Act” is the main output of the Youth e-Perspectives on Migration project. The project aimed at empowering young people to address sensitive contemporary societal issues (in our case migration and the refugee crisis) and at the same time to improve their digital and media skills. In this way, digital and technical skills developed in parallel with social values like active citizenship.The main part of the methodology is, implemented as face-to-face activities. It includes four interrelated digital media modules (or as we call them, workshops): Digital Journalism, Digital Photography, Digital Storytelling and Online Platforms, in which refugee crisis was our main theme. The methodology can be applied to any other “hot” societal topic that young people are faced with.
