Effectiveness of Integrating Reciprocal Teaching and Science Stations Strategies in Teaching Science on Developing Some Science Hand Skills among Eighth Grade Female Pupils in Thamar City (Arts for Educational & Psychological Studies; Vol.5, No.3) Year of publication: 2023 Author: Nabeeha Saleh Abdulmoghni, Mohammed Ebrahim Al-San Corporate author: Dhamar University This study aimed to identify the impact of integrating reciprocal teaching and science stations strategies in teaching science on developing some science hand skills among Eighth-grade female pupils in Thamar City. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical method and the quasi-experimental design of the two groups, with pre and post measurements, were used. The data collection tools included: a checklist for analyzing Unit 7 (Nutrition in Living Organisms), and unit 8 (The Relationship of what you eat to your Health) in the respective textbook; a checklist of science hand skills to be developed; and an observation sheet of the skills, covering three main skills: (carrying out scientific experiments correctly- designing and drawing shapes and illustrations correctly- following safety rules in the laboratory). After testing the validity and reliability of the tools, and administering them to the study sample, a number of results were revealed. More specifically, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pupils of the experimental and control groups in the science hand skills, attributed to the experimental group due to the integrative approach. فاعلية التكامل بين إستراتيجيتي التدريس التبادلي والمحطات العلمية في تدريس مادة العلوم على تنمية بعض المهارات اليدوية العلمية لدى تلميذات الصف الثامن الأساسي في مدارس مدينة ذمار (مجلة الآداب للدراسات النفسية والتربوية; Vol.5, No.3) Year of publication: 2023 Author: Nabeeha Saleh Abdulmoghni, Mohammed Ebrahim Al-San Corporate author: Dhamar University هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على فاعلية التدريس باستخدام المدخل التكاملي البيني المدمج بين إستراتيجيتي التدريس التبادلي والمحطات العلمية في تدريس مادة العلوم لتنمية بعض المهارات اليدوية العلمية لدى تلميذات الصف الثامن الأساسي بمدينة ذمار، وتكونت عينة البحث من (60) تلميذة، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والمنهج التجريبي القائم على التصميم شبه التجريبي للمجموعتين، ذي القياسين القبلي والبعدي، وتكونت أدوات البحث من قائمة تحليل محتوى الوحدة السابعة (التغذية في الكائنات الحية)، والثامنة (علاقة ما تتناوله بصحة جسمك)، من كتاب العلوم المقرر للصف الثامن الأساسي، وقائمة بالمهارات اليدوية العلمية اللازم تنميتها، وبطاقة ملاحظة المهارات اليدوية العلمية المكونة من ثلاثة مهارات رئيسة، هي: (مهارات إجراء التجارب العلمية بصورة صحيحة - تصميم ورسم الأشكال والرسوم التوضيحية بصورة صحيحة، ودقيقة -اتباع قواعد الأمان، والسلامة في المختبر)، وبعد التأكد من الصدق والثبات للأدوات المستخدمة، وتطبيقها على عينة البحث، توصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج أبرزها أن هناك فروقاً دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسط درجات تلميذات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في بطاقة ملاحظة المهارات اليدوية العلمية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية تُعزى للمدخل التكاملي البيني. 
The Art of Inclusive Exclusions: Educating the Palestinian Refugee Students in Lebanon (Refugee Survey Quarterly, Vol. 33, No. 2) Year of publication: 2014 Author: Maha Shuayb Corporate author: Centre for Arab Unity Studies For more than 65 years, Palestinian refugees have been living in Lebanon in a “temporary” State in over-crowded camps, deprived of basic rights such as the right to have a professional job. It has been argued that these restrictions have had a major effect on the fair provision and quality of education, an effect manifested in the increasing number of Palestinian students who are dropping out of school. This article examines the quality of education offered in United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees schools and the impact of Lebanese legal restrictions on students’ educational motivation and aspirations.A quantitative survey of the educational experiences and aspirations of 404 secondary students and 48 teachers in five secondary schools of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees was carried out. An in-depth study of a primary school also took place. The findings revealed that Palestinian refugee students are confronted by a paradox: forced inclusion because of having to learn the Lebanese curriculum, but exclusion because of simultaneously being pushed to the periphery of Lebanese society as a result of the Lebanon’s discriminatory laws and regulations. فن الإقصاء الإدماجي : تعليم الطلاب الفلسطينيين اللاجئين في لبنان Year of publication: 2014 Author: Maha Shuayb Corporate author: Centre for Arab Unity Studies ترمي هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز المفارقة التي تواجه اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في لبنان مُتَجَلّيةً في إدماجهم قسراً عبر تلقّي المقرر الدراسي اللبناني مع اضطرارهم في الوقت ذاته إلى البقاء على هامش المجتمع اللبناني نتيجة للقوانين والترتيبات اللبنانية التمييزية. بغية استقصاء ذلك؛ فحصتِ هذه الدراسة، نوعية التربية المتوافرة للفلسطينيين الدارسين في مدارس الأنروا (وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين) ووَقْع التضييقات القانونية اللبنانية على حافزهم التعليمي وتطلعاتهم التربوية. يتوزّع محتوى الورقة على قسمين اثنين يعرض الأوّل منهما تقويماً عامّاً للظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية والاقتصادية والتعليمية التي يعيشها اللاجئون الفلسطينيون في لبنان.
