Moldova SDG Push Framework: Unlocking New Pathways to SDG Acceleration Year of publication: 2024 Corporate author: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) SDG Push is about realizing development ambition and redefining how we build acceleration pathways. It helps pinpoint policy choices that ‘move the needle’ towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. A UNDP flagship initiative, SDG Push uses digital and data innovation, systems thinking, and futures approaches to provide a comprehensive and country-specific tool to plan and implement SDG breakthroughs in a variety of development contexts. SDG Acceleration Pathways, specific to context and need, were co-created in collaboration with Indonesia, Moldova, Namibia, Peru and South Africa. These pilots helped to refine the SDG Push approach and the digital SDG Push Diagnostic and formed the foundation of the Integrated SDG Insights Reports, presented at the 2023 SDG Summit. This integrated, modular approach includes the analysis of development trends and priorities with data visualization, integrating generative dialogue, foresight methods and economic modelling to assess the impact of potential accelerators.

It also highlights challenges that need to be taken into consideration and offers recommendations to promote their greater contribution, influence, and participation in peace processes.

Ministry of Environment | State Forests Poland Wood can play a crucial role in cutting down emissions when replacing more carbon-intensive materials in the construction sector. The cartoon entitled “The Three Little Pigs & Climate Change”, reminds us that carbon emissions of concrete and steel respectively are 40 and 30 percent higher than those of wood.This video was a joint production of the Forest, Land and Housing Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the Polish Ministry of the Environment and State Forests Poland. Child Rights Education Toolkit: Rooting Child Rights in Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary Schools Year of publication: 2014 Corporate author: United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) This toolkit, developed by UNICEF, defines what is meant by child rights education and the child rights approach. It explains the relevance of child rights education to UNICEF’s mission and the ways in which education can take place in a range of contexts--including with professionals, caregivers, the corporate sector, the media, and children’s groups. The audience of this toolkit is therefore intended to be UNICEF National Committees, UNICEF country offices, UN agencies working on child rights education (CRE), governments, and other civil society organisations, NGOs, and academic institutions.Although this Toolkit focuses on child rights education in the formal learning environment (early childhood education settings, primary and secondary schools), it is hoped that it will also be useful for those working to promote child rights education through other channels, such as in the media, with children’s organizations and through children’s involvement in advocacy.For more information check the UNICEF webpage. 
Case Studies From Schools Involved in Inclusive Education in Macedonia Training-of-Trainers Programme (2012–2014) Year of publication: 2014 Corporate author: United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) This short booklet offers some of the case studies that the teachers/ trainers developed in their schools, following the training-of-trainers. Some of the examples focus on telling a whole-school story, while others focus on individual children who have been supported to attend and participate in learning. All of the case studies offer ideas and inspiration to other practitioners – within and beyond the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia – who are working hard to make education more inclusive for all children.

Office for Civil Rights (OCR) The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights published, Education in a Pandemic: The Disparate Impacts of COVID-19 on America’s Students, in response to President Biden’s Executive Order on Supporting the Reopening and Continuing Operation of Schools and Early Childhood Education Providers. The report explores how the impacts of COVID-19 are falling disproportionately on students who went into the pandemic with the fewest educational opportunities, many of whom are from marginalized and underserved communities, with early research showing disparities based on race, ethnicity, LGBTQ+ identity, and other factors. 
Strengthening Health System Responses to Gender-based Violence in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: A Resource Package Year of publication: 2014 Corporate author: United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) | Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) This collection of materials is the result of a collaboration between UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund), the UNFPA Regional Office for population for the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia and the WAVE Network (Women Against Violence in Europe) and is an updated edition of the compilation, revised in 2013-2014. It has been brought in line with new requirements in terms of enhancing the response of the health system to gender inequality; its content has been updated taking into account the latest international developments. 
Advancing Digital Equity for All: Community-Based Recommendations for Developing Effective Digital Equity Plans to Close the Digital Divide and Enable Technology-Empowered Learning Year of publication: 2022 Corporate author: USA. Office of Educational Technology In spring 2022, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Educational Technology (OET) committed to advancing digital equity through the Digital Equity Education Roundtables (DEER) Initiative. Through DEER, OET hosted a series of national conversations with leaders from community-based organizations, as well as families and learners furthest from digital opportunities. The “Advancing Digital Equity for All” resource illuminates insights from these conversation to highlight the barriers faced by learner communities and promising solutions for increasing access to technology for learning.The historic federal investments authorized by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act offer critical opportunities for broadband planning that can identify and equitably address the various availability, affordability, and adoption challenges described. Using this guidance resource as a starting point, it is essential that leaders collaborate with those most impacted by the digital divide to develop comprehensive digital equity plans that outline strategies to meet the needs of learners, their families/caregivers, and communities effectively and sustainably.
