The Right to Non-Discrimination Year of publication: 2018 Corporate author: National Commission for Human Rights This document talks about the concept of discrimination, its origins and the concepts that this phenomenon contains: stereotypes, prejudices, systematic discrimination. It also reviews the forms as discrimination is presented and its consequences, to later refer to the right to non-discrimination and what can be done in case of being a victim.

The core of the matter lies in the following: despite the multiple commitments established by legal actors of various kinds, international treaties and declarations, to date it has not been possible to satisfy the demands of the original communities. It is worth mentioning that, despite the existence of basic principles, such as: universality, interdependence, indivisibility and progressiveness, the fundamental demands of excluded social collectivities, recognized both in the Federal Constitution and in international treaties, in praxis have not been served. 
Toolbox in Education for Peace Year of publication: 2013 Author: Luz Marfa Chapela Corporate author: UNESCO Mexico The components of this box form a system in which each element has its own ends and all the elements, gathered and linked, seek the same shared goal: offer recreational materials that encourage introspective reflection, the best knowledge of the other and the environment, the collaborative study, the participation of different agents of the community in support of teachers, the use of mother tongues and the identification of resources, knowledge, talents and skills in local communities. This box is addressed in a special way to teachers and students of basic education, as well as to different agents of the civil society that support them. Its purpose is to favor the development of school communities that make the school a center of study, play, advice and work for all. Because the materials of the Toolbox can also be interesting to young people and adults of all ages. In this sense, the box invites the different agents of the communities to think and produce new playful-educational materials that collect and put into action some priority local contents, which, surely, will enrich the life and educational possibilities of school communities. 
Alternative bilingual Miskito-Spanish intercultural literacy education linked to the exercise of citizenship and community production Year of publication: 2008 Corporate author: Regional Literacy and CONFINTEA VI Preparatory Conference in Latin America and the Caribbean: From Literacy to Lifelong Learning: Towards the Challenges of the 21st Century, Mexico City, 2008 The Alternative Bilingual Intercultural Literacy Education project is carried out in five rural indigenous communities and eleven urban neighbourhoods of Bilwi (Puerto Cabezas) in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAN) of Nicaragua. In this region, illiteracy is the result of poverty, historical social exclusion and the lack of any official or State programme of adult literacy education in the Miskito language. This constitutes a negation of the right to bilingual intercultural education of the young and adult indigenous population and an obstacle to individual, social and regional development. The project provides literacy classes for young people and adults in their mother tongue Miskito and in Spanish, and deals with intercultural themes of their world view, the environment and indigenous rights. In Nicaragua, this experiment is a unique and alternative model of literacy provision in Miskito, with a Miskito-Spanish bilingual intercultural curriculum of its own. The texts have been produced by authors from the Miskito ethnic group, with contents determined on the basis of a needs analysis and the identification of fundamental features of the Miskito world view.

Journal of Evaluation for Teachers and Managers: The Pending Agenda of Bilingual Intercultural Education in Mexico (Red Magazine; No.4, 2019) Year of publication: 2019 Corporate author: National Institute for the Evaluation of Education (NIEE) This journal addresses an outstanding concern within the Mexican state: indigenous, intercultural, and bilingual education in our nation. It delves into the pedagogy of history at the elementary and secondary levels, along with an exploration of the internet's resources for stimulating student interest in this subject, as presented in our inaugural issue of 2019. Equally noteworthy are inquiries into teacher professionalization and insights shared by several educators on this subject.
