The ethical challenges of climate change (The UNESCO Courier no. 3, July-September 2019) Año de publicación: 2019 Autor corporativo: UNESCO Climate change not only threatens our ecosystems, it undermines the foundation of our fundamental rights, deepens inequalities and creates new forms of injustice. Adapting to climate change and trying to mitigate its impacts are not just a matter of scientific knowledge and political will; they also demand a broader view of a complex situation. In order to help Member States and other stakeholders to make appropriate decisions and implement effective policies for sustainable development, adaptation to climate change and the mitigation of its negative effects, UNESCO adopted a Declaration of Ethical Principles in relation to Climate Change in November 2017.Ethics constitute the substantial core of any commitment. As a mobilizing force, ethics can steer action, facilitate arbitration, resolve conflicting interests, and establish priorities. Ethics have the capacity to connect theory with practice, general principles with political will, and global awareness with local actions. Su capacidad de movilización permite orientar la acción, establecer arbitrajes, decidir entre intereses contradictorios y fijar prioridades. La ética facilita la articulación de la teoría con la práctica, de los principios generales con la voluntad política, y de la toma de conciencia de ámbito mundial con la aplicación de medidas a escala local. Osmose has been supported by UNESCO in Phnom Penh in many projects including: production of a poster depicting the flooded forest and plants of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve, handicraft, and particularly, environemental education (EE). EE was initiated in 2000 when Osmose realized there was an increase in the child population and that education was therefore needed in order to protect their natural resources. 국가 지속가능발전목표(K-SDGs) 세부목표 및 지표 Año de publicación: 2019 Autor corporativo: 대한민국 환경부 지속가능발전위원회 K-SDGs는 국제적 정세에 대응하여 수립한 한국형 SDGs이며, 경제, 사회, 환경 등 국정 전 분야를 아울러 대한민국이 가야 할 2030년까지 이정표를 설정한 것이다.K-SDGs는 기존에 행정부처에서 각종 정책 및 계획 등을 먼저 수립한 후 관계 전문가와 국민 의견을 수렴하는 하향식(Top-down) 방식과는 다른 상향식(Bottom-up) 방식으로 추진되었다. 초안을 마련하는 단계부터 192명의 민간 작업반이 참여하여 우리 사회의 지속가능성을 위해 요구되는 사항들을 반영한 세부목표, 지표체계(안)를 마련했다.이에 대해 환경부는 90개 이상의 기관과 단체가 포함된 이해관계자그룹(K-MGoS, Korea Major Groups and other Stakeholders)의 운영과 두 차례에 걸친 국민 대토론회 개최 등을 통한 국민 의견 수렴 후 그 결과를 관계부처와 협의하여 확정했다. 또한, 향후 K-SDGs의 이행과 보완 과정에서도 이해관계자그룹 등 국민 협치(거버넌스) 체계를 계속 유지할 계획이다.
