Pese a los considerables avances que se han alcanzado desde la entrada en vigor de la Convención, ningún país puede reivindicar aún haber logrado plenamente la igualdad entre los géneros.Los progresos conseguidos en materia de derechos humanos de la mujer y de igualdad de género están en un grave riesgo de invertirse fruto de diversas crisis, que abarcan desde la pandemia de COVID-19 y la triple crisis planetaria relativa al cambio climático, la contaminación y la pérdida de biodiversidad, hasta los conflictos armados y el desplazamiento, y el alza del autoritarismo. La igualdad de género es un elemento fundamental del desarrollo sostenible y la paz. Las dificultades actuales no se pueden sortear si las mujeres —que constituyen la mitad de la población mundial— quedan excluidas de una participación y un liderazgo plenos y equitativos en los ámbitos económico, político y social. Por lo tanto, la Convención sigue actuando de pilar sólido para desarrollar un mundo más resiliente y sociedades más inclusivas.

However, much is not considered in such projects. In particular, no attention is paid to the psychological component, while the perception of ideas and information received is key in the spread of radical ideologies. Kunduz Kydyrova, an analyst at M-Vector and a member of the CABAR.asia School of Analytics, discusses the need to apply a transdisciplinary approach in PVE projects and how mythmaking can help increase the effectiveness of such initiatives. Situation Assessment: Comprehensive Sexuality Education in Digital Spaces – Opportunities for Formal Education in Thailand Año de publicación: 2021 Autor corporativo: UNESCO Bangkok This rapid situation assessment of comprehensive sexuality education across digital spaces in Thailand aims to understand the opportunities for using digital sexuality education spaces and content in formal education. The report analyses original data drawn from young people, teachers, education officials, and representatives of organizations engaged in young people’s health and well-being, and consolidates these with learnings from earlier studies both locally and further afield. It offers recommendations for capacity-building and other efforts to expand access to innovative teaching and learning on sexuality education by leveraging digital spaces both in and out of the classroom.
