Input for Report on Disinformation Año de publicación: 2021 Autor corporativo: International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) has responded to a call for inputs, issued by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, about the human rights impacts of measures against disinformation.Access to information and intellectual freedom are among the key ethical and institutional commitments of the global library field; while information literacy has long been an important competency which libraries work to support and champion among their communities. Drawing on library experiences with the above, this input highlights some good practices and key considerations around freedom of opinion and expression in addressing challenges raised by dis and misinformation.

Engaging Girls, Boys and Youth as Active Citizens: Plan International’s Position Paper Año de publicación: 2020 Autor corporativo: Plan International This paper provides Plan International’s position on the right to participate in public life, as well as analysis of: the legal and political framework; the impact of social and gender norms on participation; and specific issues in relation to political empowerment and active citizenship. This paper supports 100 Million Reasons, Plan International’s 2017-2022 Global Strategy, in which supporting girls, boys and youth as active drivers of change is a main priority. It upholds our work in relation to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals – in particular Goals 5, 10 and 16. A number of high-level recommendations are included to guide advocacy. Educate All Girls and Boys in South Asia; the global out of school children initiative Año de publicación: 2015 Autor corporativo: UNICEF South Asia The South Asia Out-of-School Children Initiative (OOSCI) is part of the global initiative launched by UNICEF and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) in 2010. The goal of the initiative is to make significant and sustained reduction in the number of out-of-school children around the world by 1) developing comprehensive profiles of excluded children using consistent and innovative statistical methods; 2) linking these profiles to the barriers and bottlenecks that lead to exclusion; and 3) identifying, promoting and implementing sound policies that address exclusion from a multi-sectorial perspective. 
The Effect of Integration in Kindergarten in Improving Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication among Children with Autism spectrum Disorder Año de publicación: 2023 Autor: Bin Fatima Maryam Autor corporativo: University of Blida 2 This study aimed to identify the effect of integration in kindergartens on improving verbal and non-verbal communication among children with autism spectrum disorder by presenting the development of a group of seven children (3-4) years old who were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and then integrating them for a full year in kindergartens. The study, based on the Cars scale for estimating childhood autism, the verbal and non-verbal communication test, and the Brunet-Lèzine test, found that there are statistically significant differences between integration in kindergarten and both verbal and non-verbal communication, the degree of estimation of childhood autism, and the coefficient of the growth. أثر الدمج في رياض الأطفال في تحسين التواصل اللفظي و غير اللفظي لدى الأطفال المصابين باضطراب طيف التوحد Año de publicación: 2023 Autor: Bin Fatima Maryam Autor corporativo: University of Blida 2 هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر الدمج في رياض الأطفال على تحسين التواصل اللفظي وغير اللفظي لدى الأطفال المصابين باضطراب طيف التوحد بتقديم تطوُر لمجموعة من سبعة أطفال( 3- 4) سنوات تم تشخيصهم باضطراب طيف التوحد ثم دمجهم لمدة عام كامل في رياض الأطفال. و توصلت الدراسة بالاعتماد على مقياس كارز لتقدير التوحد الطفولي ، و اختبار التواصل اللفظي وغير اللفظي ، و اختبار بروني ليزين إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الدمج في رياض الأطفال و كل من التواصل اللفظي وغير اللفظي و درجة تقدير التوحد الطفولي و معامل النمو. 
Participatory Planning to Achieve Structural Change with Equality: Citizen Participation Strategies in Multi-scale Planning Processes Año de publicación: 2015 Autor: Alicia Williner | Andrea Sanhueza | Carlos Sandoval Autor corporativo: United Nations (UN) This manual that ILPES places at the disposal of public officials and non-governmental agents working in the community, has the purpose of sharing a brief theoretical reflection on the current socio-political context through which this manual becomes important; and a set of methodological instruments that will bring the user closer to the social practice of a citizen participation process in the construction of a public management instrument. The manual is divided into two chapters: The first conceptualizes participatory multiscale planning, while also briefly introducing three topics of great importance to be incorporated into any participatory planning process and construction of public management instruments: the perspective of gender, the use of Convention 169 and Principle 10. The second chapter systematizes a set of methodological instruments that describe the stages of a citizen participation strategy to incorporate the multiscale public management instruments. The manual closes with two annexes, the last of which incorporates a set of tools that can be used in the stages of the construction of a citizen participation strategy.
