China’s Bamboo-Related Intangible Cultural Heritage and Innovation in Bamboo Weaving Año de publicación: 2024 Autor: Li Yanxia | Liu Chenge | Wang Renfei Autor corporativo: UNESCO Beijing | International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) In the writing and editing of China’s Bamboo-Related Intangible Cultural Heritage and Innovation in Bamboo Weaving (hereinafter called the “Booklet”), we have focused on introducing Chinese bamboo weaving to allow readers to comprehend relevant knowledge about the craft, fully appreciate its charm, and inspire the passing down and innovation of bamboo-weaving techniques.The Booklet includes six chapters focusing on intangible cultural heritage, China’s national bamboo related intangible cultural heritage elements, the development of Chinese bamboo weaving, analysis of bamboo-weaving patterns, modern designs and product innovations, and a tutorial series on bamboo-woven products. The first chapter introduces the definition of global and Chineseintangible cultural heritage. The second chapter systematically outlines the history, model for classification and contemporary development status of China’s traditional bamboo crafts. The third chapter presents an in-depth analysis of the development of bamboo-weaving skills. The fourth chapter features 12 flat weaving patterns recorded by the project team in Chishui City, Guizhou Province, where “China Danxia, a World Heritage Site, is located. It provides a detailed exploration of pattern characteristics and weaving methods, accompanied by picture and video tutorials for readers to practice by hands. The fifth chapter comprehensively elaborates on the innovative design system of bamboo-woven products and showcases real-world cases through personal involvement in designing and collecting innovative bamboo-woven products from both domestic and international sources. إعداد المعلم العربي للألفية الثالثة : تحديات واتجاهات Año de publicación: 2007 Autor: جرار، سمير Autor corporativo: Lebanese Association for Educational Studies (LAES) يستعرض البحث التحديات والتوجهات الخاصة بالإعداد المستقبلي للمعلمين في الدول العربية والحاجة إلى تمهين التعليم مع المحافظة على نوعيته وجودته في عصر المعلومات ومجتمع المعرفة. وبعد الحديث عن مسيرة إعداد المعلمين في البلدان العربية وتدريبهم يدعو الباحث إلى إعادة النظر في عملية الإعداد بحيث تتوافق مع الرؤية الجديدة للتعلم ولوظيفة المعلم في آن واحد، كما يدعو إلى تعزيز الشراكة بين كليات التربية وبين المدارس المتعاونة معها للقيام بمهمة الإعداد. ويشدد البحث على أهمية اعتماد قواعد جديدة لاختيار المرشحين لدخول مهنة التعليم مع السعي لتجديد برامج إعداد المعلمين في المستوى الجامعي بصورة مستمرة وتشجيع التعليم الذاتي للطالب المعلم. ويبرز البحث كذلك أهمية اعتماد إجراءات أصبحت شائعة في البلدان المتقدمة مثل الترخيص لممارسة مهنة التعليم، وإجازة برامج الإعداد، ومعايير الترقي المهني للمعلمين، ويدعو أخيراً إلى إنشاء مركز متخصص بالبحث في تقنيات التعلم والتعليم وكيفية تكوين المعلم العربي الجديد. Preparing Arab Teachers for the 3rd Millennium: Trends & Challenges Año de publicación: 2007 Autor: جرار، سمير Autor corporativo: Lebanese Association for Educational Studies (LAES) The chapter outlines the challenges and trends in teacher preparation in Arab states. The need is to improve instruction and raise its quality in the knowledge-based societies. After discussing the history of teacher preparation in Arab countries, the author advocates a re-examination of the training process, so that it conforms to new visions of education and the ever changing role of the teacher. He also advocates partnerships between Faculties of Education and schools, so that they can carry out the task of preparation. The chapter stresses the importance of adopting new criteria for accepting newcomers to the teaching profession; seeking to renew teacher training programs at the university level on a continuing basis. The author highlights the importance of adopting measures that have become common, such as teacher certification and program accreditation, training programs and promotion and setting standards for teachers. Finally, it calls for establishing a research center specialized in teaching and instructional methods. The center will produce professional models for preparing teachers.

It does not seek to detail every case that could be considered genocide, but to show how the term has entered the political, legal and ethical vocabulary from 1900 to 2016 to express threats of violence against groups.
