세계시민교육 프로그램이 성인기 발달장애인의 세계시민의식과 문제해결력 및 사회정서역량에 미치는 영향 (열린교육연구; Vol. 32, No. 3) Año de publicación: 2024 Autor: 최지혜 | 이숙향 Autor corporativo: 한국열린교육학회 본 연구의 목적은 세계시민교육의 보편성과 발달장애인의 특수성을 고려한 성인기 발달장애인을 위한 세계시민교육 프로그램을 개발하여 성인기 발달장애인에게 적용하고 그 효과를 조사하여 향후 발달장애인을 위한 세계시민교육의 방향을 논의하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적에 따라 5단계(성인기 발달장애인을 위한 세계시민교육 기초조사, 국내외 세계시민교육 관련 교육내용 분석, 세계시민교육 프로그램 핵심요소 추출, 프로그램 초안 개발, 전문가 내용타당도 검증)에 걸쳐 성인기 발달장애인을 위한 세계시민교육 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 성인기 발달장애인 9명에게 적용하여 세계시민의식, 문제해결력, 사회정서역량에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 연구 결과 연구참여자의 세계시민의식, 문제해결력은 통계적으로 유의미한 변화가 있었으나 사회정서역량은 통계적으로 유의미한 변화가 없었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 발달장애인을 위한 세계시민교육의 방향을 제언하였다. 
평화 그림책 만들기 활동이 유아의 공감능력과 생명존중의식 및 세계시민의식에 미치는 영향 (열린교육연구; Vol. 32, No. 1) Año de publicación: 2024 Autor: 양진희 Autor corporativo: 한국열린교육학회 본 연구의 목적은 평화 그림책을 활용한 그림책 만들기 활동이 유아의 공감능력, 생명존중의식, 그리고 세계시민의식에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 데 있다. 연구의 대상은 J시에 소재한 A유치원 5세 유아반 2학급의 유아 41명(실험집단, 20명, 비교집단, 21명)이다. 실험집단과 비교집단은 모두 8주 동안 매주 1권씩 평화 그림책을 읽어주기 활동을 실시하였으며, 실험집단은 그림책 읽어주기 활동 후 그림책 만들기 활동을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 SPSS 21.0 program을 사용하여 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 평화 그림책 읽어주기 활동에 참여한 후 그림책 만들기 활동에 참여한 실험집단은 첫째, 공감능력, 둘째, 생명존중의식, 그리고 셋째, 세계시민의식이 그림책 읽어주기 활동에만 참여한 비교집단 보다 높았으며, 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 차이를 보였다. 이는 평화 그림책 만들기 활동이 유아의 공감능력, 생명존중의식, 그리고 세계시민의식의 증진에 효과적임을 의미한다. 본 연구는 유아기부터 형성되어야 하는 평화의식으로 공감능력과 생명존중의식 및 세계시민의식을 높일 수 있는 그림책의 가치와 프로그램의 효과를 검증함으로써 현장에서 실천해야 할 다양한 프로그램을 모색하였다는 점에서 의의가 높다. 
세계시민교육에서 공감 함양을 위한 그림책 활용 (한국초등교육; Vol. 35, No. 3) Año de publicación: 2024 Autor: 한유미 | 이경윤 Autor corporativo: 서울교육대학교 초등교육연구원 오늘날 전염병, 전쟁, 기후 위기와 같은 문제들은 국가와 지역을 초월한 전 지구적 협력이 필요하다. 이에 국제사회는 글로벌 문제 해결에 참여할 수 있는 세계시민의 양성을 강조하고 있다. 특히 사회과 교육과정은 바람직한 세계시민의 자질을 함양하기 위한 주요 교과로, 공동체 의식과 배려, 협력의 실천을 중요시하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 사회과 교육과정은 인지적 요소에 집중되어 있으며, 공감함양을 위한 교수ㆍ학습이 부족한 상태이다. 바람직한 세계시민의 자질을 함양하기 위해서는 인지적, 사회ㆍ정서적, 행동적 영역의 균형적인 발달이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구는 세계시민교육에서 공감의중요성을 확인하고, 초등 사회과 세계시민교육에서 그림책을 활용한 공감 함양 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 학생들은 그림책을 통해 직접 경험하지 못한 상황에 대한 이해와 공감을 통해 인류 보편적가치를 존중하고, 글로벌 문제 해결에 능동적으로 참여하는 세계시민의 자질을 기를 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 ‘LEARN-THINK-ACT’ 전략을 활용하여 그림책을 통한 세계시민교육의 과정을 이해하고, 생각하고, 실천하기의 단계로 제시하였다. 각 단계에서 학생들은 그림책의 내용을 바탕으로등장인물의 입장과 상황을 이해하고, 그들의 감정에 이입하고, 실제 행동으로 옮기는 과정을 통해 공감을 함양한다. 본 연구는 이러한 교육 방법이 교육 현장에서 효과적으로 구현될 수 있도록 다양한 사례와 시사점을 제공함으로써, 보다 평화롭고 지속 가능한 사회를 구축하는 데 이바지하고자 한다. 
Ciudadanía y cultura de paz en la reforma educativa Año de publicación: 2005 Autor: Raúl Zepeda López, María del Rosario Toj, Edgar Florencio Montúfar Autor corporativo: UNESCO La preocupación planteada por los temas y contenidos de la formación ciudadana y la cultura de paz en la niñez y la juventud son cuestiones sentidas en diversos sectores académicos, en organizaciones sociales y autoridades educativas que algunas veces se traducen en sendos artículos en los medios de comunicación en donde, entre otras cosas, se habla de “la pérdida de valores” a secas, generalmente teniendo como referencia a las jóvenes generaciones e invisibilizando que esta pérdida principalmente está presente en las generaciones adultas, las cuales son responsables de esta situación. Estas inquietudes, a pesar de aquella consciente ambigüedad, no son gratuitas. Pueden ser punto de partida para tomar conciencia de la necesidad de desarrollo de nuevas capacidades y valores, cuya ausencia, los jóvenes latinoamericanos identifican en sus dirigentes políticos y sociales, como ha quedado antes señalado en estudios citados, realizados por UNICEF para América Latina y por Beatriz de Cazali para Guatemala. La necesidad de responder a esta preocupación está presente, además, en los participantes en los diálogos y consensos municipales (2000), así como entre autoridades y curriculistas del MINEDUC en los últimos quinquenios. 
Cultural Diversity and Interculturality in Higher Education. The Challenges to Build Citizenship: Media as a Platform for Dialogue Año de publicación: 2010 Autor: Claudia Lagos Autor corporativo: Universidad de Chile The OREALC / UNESCO Santiago and the UNESCO National Commission, the Regional Delegation for Cooperation in the Southern Cone and Brazil, the French Embassy in Chile, the Freedom of Expression Program of the Institute of Communication and Image of the University of Chile and the UNESCO Chair "Media and citizen participation" of the Universidad Diego Portales, commemorated the World Day for Press Freedom 2009 with the seminar "The challenges to build citizenship. Media as a platform for dialogue ", held on May 5, 2009 at the Central House of the University of Chile. The meeting, with national and international guests, made it possible to reflect on and discuss the main issues -although not the only ones- that are currently in the hands of issues related to the promotion of pluralism and diversity; the challenges for journalism and the media in a context of high technological renewal and economic crisis; the lines of work in the matter for the design and execution of public policies, and research in communication. This publication collects the presentations of the speakers during the Seminar, as well as leaves testimony of the commitments assumed by the presidential candidates that we hope will become an agenda not only for the 2010-2014 administration, but also for the political sectors that represent each one of those who signed the document. 
Green Technology Book 2022: Solutions for Climate Change Adaptation Año de publicación: 2022 Autor corporativo: World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO’s new Green Technology Book puts innovation, technology and intellectual property at the forefront in the fight against climate change. 2024 State of Climate Services: Five-year Progress Report (2019–2024) Año de publicación: 2024 Autor corporativo: World Meteorological Organization (WMO) In 2018, the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement at the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) called on WMO, through its Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS), to regularly report on the state of climate services. WMO has issued annual reports on the state of climate services since 2019 in response to this United Nations request for more information on the adaptation needs of countries. The information helps countries, funding agencies and development partners to identify steps needed to address climate services gaps and needs, to inform more effective investment and to enhance adaptation and development outcomes. The 2024 edition of the report describes the current state of climate services while also examining and assessing the progress that has been made during the last five years. The report explores the climate policy response to the climate challenge and advancements made by Members across numerous value chain components. This year’s edition also includes an in-depth look at how a selection of 13 countries have successfully leveraged climate services to deliver socioeconomic benefits at a national, regional or global level. The analysis draws on 113 case studies that were developed over the last five years across multiple sectors, and examines the key success factors, including showcasing the value being created by climate services. Medios de comunicación como plataforma de diálogo”, realizado el 5 de mayo de 2009 en la Casa Central de la Universidad de Chile. Esta publicación recoge las presentaciones de los expositores durante el Seminario, así como también deja testimonio de los compromisos asumidos por los candidatos presidenciales que esperamos se transforme en una agenda no sólo para la administración 2010-2014, sino que también para los sectores políticos que representa cada uno de quienes suscribieron el documento.
