Représentant près de la moitié des opérateurs de l’État et accueillant un large public, ils ont un impact environnemental substantiel. De nombreuses initiatives ont été prises ces dernières années en la matière et les politiques menées dans les établissements commencent à se mettre en place. Elles sont cependant encore insuffisantes pour atteindre les objectifs affichés, manquant en particulier de nombreux outils pour développer une démarche rigoureuse, cohérente et efficace. L’enseignement supérieur a pourtant un rôle majeur à jouer, non seulement pour réduire sa propre empreinte écologique, mais aussi pour produire, adapter et diffuser les connaissances nécessaires à la réussite de la transition écologique.Higher education institution occupy a specific place in the ecological transition. Representing nearly half of the state operators and catering to a diverse audience, they have a substantial environmental impact. Numerous initiatives have been undertaken in recent years, and policies within these institutions are beginning to take shae. However, they are still insufficient to achieve the stated objectives, notably lacking many tools to develop a rigorous, coherent and effective approach. Higher education has a crucial role to play, not only in reducing its own ecological footprint but also in generating, adapting, and disseminating th knowledge necessary for the success of the ecological transition.

It also considers the services that the child needs, to move from this approach, to the approach of the scientific model that aspires to comprehensive change. This guide is concerned with providing a comprehensive and integrated vision of children's rights policies, formulating standards and implications for these rights and programming them to ensure their enforcement, and building effective policies that guarantee the rights and well-being of children in the Arab region. 
Non-state Actors in Tertiary Education: A Shared Vision for Quality and Affordability? Providers are diverse, respond to a variety of needs, and often blur the line between the state and non-state sectors. Non-state actors are also important players in the financing of tertiary education through households, market mechanisms and public–private partnerships. As a result, these actors play a significant role in influencing regulations and policymaking, and in shaping the tertiary system as a whole. Governments must ensure quality and equity, the key dimensions of Sustainable Development Goal target 4.3, regardless of how state and non-state actors share responsibilities. On the other hand, this new Editorial Series, open to social movements, platforms of struggle, academic groups, collaboration networks, public policy makers, citizens of all of our Latin America and the Caribbean and other latitudes of the global South, combines a multiplicity of edges, perspectives and approaches. This volume comes to occupy a vacant place in critical studies on disability in Latin America, which is to record the struggles for the rights of these people in our region. Introducing a historical problematization in this regard not only has an epistemological and political relevance, but also makes a contribution to the present and to contemporary disability policies.

Some of the challenges addressed by NbS, including biodiversity loss and climate action, cannot be fully tackled without this contribution. This does not mean that other actions, such as rapid decarbonization of our economies, are not also essential. This report: Outlines recent developments on NbS, with a focus on global, regional and national commitments, and key issues and concerns Builds on the new multilaterally agreed definition of NbS – agreed by the UN Environment Assembly in March 2022 – to set out key elements in the concept, provides examples of NbS, and discusses related approaches Provides recommendations for actions by governments, civil society and the private sector to substantially scale up the use of NbSThe report aims to inform NbS-related initiatives and discussions on NbS at global, regional, and national levels, with a focus on how NbS can be scaled up to more effectively address social, economic, and environmental challenges.
