Use of Smartphone Applications to Teach Arabic to English Language Speakers Between the Tangible Reality and the Hoped-for Future Año de publicación: 2022 Autor corporativo: University of Chlef This research examines a scientific phenomenon that hat has spread in the past few years on teaching Arabic to native English speakers using smartphone applications. Smartphone usage proved to be a stimulating phenomenon that drew the researcher's attention to studying it in great detail. The researcher observed several smartphone applications in teaching Arabic to English speakers. However, this led to the writer's description, clarification, and categorization of these applications based on their features and characteristics, just as he was keen to explain and clarify some demerits of these applications. The main goal was to help students when selecting the rightful applications for them should they resort to learning Arabic through such applications. In his attempt to explain more about these applications, the researcher used a descriptive method where he also defined some of the terminologies used in this research, for example, smartphone and Arabic language applications for English speakers. He also spoke about the most vital characteristics of Arabic language learning through smartphone applications. He then mentioned a range of smartphone applications, such as the famous Duolingo app used to teach Arabic and other languages to English speakers, as well as the Arabic unlocked application. In summation, the researcher concluded his research paper by looking into the future characteristics of such applications and what an ideal application in teaching Arabic to English speakers should be.

Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research هدفت الدراسة الى معرفة اتجاهات واراء معلمي المرحلة الابتدائية حول دمج الأطفال ذوي الأحتياجات الخاصة في المدارس الابتدائية في مديرية تربية بغداد ـ الكرخ / 2 حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من (100) معلما ومعلمة ، وقد استخدمت الدراسة اداة الاستبانة والتي شملت (30) فقرة ، و كانت تدرس الهدف الأول هو اتجاهات المعلمين نحو دمج ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في المدارس الاعتيادية وقد توصلت الدراسة الى ان المعلمين كانت لديهم إتجاهات نحو الدمج ، كما أظهرت دلالة الفروق في اتجاهات المعلمين نحو الدمج على وفق متغيري الجنس (ذكور ، إناث ) و سنوات الخدمة (15 سنة فأقل ) و ( 16 سنة فأكثر ) الى وجود فروق تعزى لجنس الأناث في الاتجاه نحو الدمج، كذلك أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق تعزى لسنوات الخبرة حيث تبين انه كلما ازدادت سنوات الخبرة زادت عملية التقبل. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research The study aimed to know the attitudes and opinions of primary school teachers about the integration of children with special needs in primary schools in the Baghdad Education Directorate - Karkh/2. The study sample consisted of (100) male and female teachers. The study used the questionnaire tool, which included (30) items. In terms of the first objective, which is teachers' attitudes towards integrating people with special needs in regular schools, the study concluded that teachers had attitudes towards inclusion, and it also showed the significance of differences in teachers' attitudes toward inclusion according to gender variables (males, females) and years of service (15), One year and less) and (16 years and over). Also, it indicated that there are differences due to female gender in the trend towards integration.
