Invest now for the recovery and the futures of education - 2021 Global Education Meeting's High-Level Segment

UNESCO is pleased to announce that it will co-host, with the Government of France, the Global Education Meetingโs high-level segment at its headquarters in Paris and online.
The high-level segment will aim to create a global political momentum to raise the profile of education and its investment imperative. It will adopt the โParis Declarationโ to renew national and international leadersโ commitment to invest in education โ domestically and internationally โ and to accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
During the meeting, the SDG 4 High Level Steering Committee will be officially launched. This renewed global cooperation mechanism will play a central role in monitoring Member Statesโ progress, international actorsโ contributions as well as recommend priority actions for education.
The event will be held at UNESCO Headquarters and online with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Russian.
