Rethinking social transformations: inequalities in the Arab region in light of COVID-19

UNESCO in partnership with the Arab Alternatives Forum for Social Studies (AFA) and Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Media Studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is organizing a 2-day webinar on "Rethinking social transformations: inequalities in the Arab region in light of COVID-19" (11-12 September 2020).
It aims to discuss the following four themes:
(1) Economic Inequalities,
(2) Public Policy and State Responses,
(3) Context Conflict, War, and Occupation, and
(4) Effects of COVID-19 on Citizenship, Civic Engagement, and Human Rights.
