EIU Best Practice Series No.30: Local-based initiative in global citizenship education: Gyeongnam teachers’ society for EIU and ESD 발행 연도: 2012 저자: Byeongseob Choi 단체 저자: APCEIU Issue No. 30 introduces a case in the Republic of Korea on the local-based initiatives of school teachers to promote EIU and ESD in their local community. The case illustrates the taken steps and efforts made by the respective teachers when elaborating innovative approaches to promote EIU and ESD, led by the intention to create a more open and locally relevant educational setting for students as well as teachers in response to the growing globalization. Especially the Gyeongnam Province, where the teachers are based, is experiencing a rapid demographic change due to the high influx of foreigners, which calls upon the educators to prepare their students to effectively cope with these changes and become global citizens.

En particulier, la province de Gyeongnam, où les enseignants sont basés, connaît une évolution démographique rapide en raison de l'afflux massif d'étrangers, qui invite les éducateurs à préparer leurs élèves à faire face efficacement à ces changements et à devenir des citoyens du monde.

제2차 세계시민교육 청년리더십 워크숍 최종보고서 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: APCEIU 본 보고서는 2016년 7월 11일부터 16일까지 부산에서 열린 ‘제2차 세계시민교육 청년리더십 워크숍(2nd Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED)’에서 이루어진 활동 개요를 제공한다. 이 워크숍은 유네스코 아태교육원과 유엔 사무총장의 글로벌교육우선구상(GEFI)가 공동주최하고 부산외국어대학교와 부산광역시 금정구가 후원하였다.이 프로그램에 전세계 38개국 49명의 청년활동가들이 참가하여 세계시민교육에 대한 아이디어를 교환하며, 세계시민교육을 전 세계적으로 확산하고 지역·국가적 차원의 청년활동을 증진하기 위한 리더십 전략을 논의하였다. 본 보고서는 6일간의 워크숍 활동들에 대한 기록과 더불어 세계시민교육의 주체로서 청년들의 세계시민교육의 의미와 우선 과제들에 대한 목소리를 담고자 했다. 문의: 유네스코 아태교육원 교육연수실(ent@unescoapceiu.org)

Final Report: 2nd Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 2nd Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from 11 - 16 July 2016. As an APCEIU's 2nd youth workshop, this programme gathered 49 youth activists from 38 countries around the world to exchange their ideas and identify GCED leadership strategies in order to mobilize young people for GCED in local and national contexts and advance the agenda globally. This report also aims to convey the voice of the youth on GCED: their thoughts and reflections on GCED and its priority areas. The workshop was co-organized by APCEIU and UN Secretary General’s Global Education First Initiative (GEFI); it was sponsored by Busan University of Foreign Studies and the Geum-jeong District of Busan Metropolitan City. 두 개념들, 하나의 목표: EIU와 ESD 발행 연도: 2007 단체 저자: APCEIU | UNESCO Bangkok 본 책자는 2007년, 아시아태평양 국제이해교육원(APCEIU)과 아시아태평양지역 발전을 위한 교육혁신 프로그램(UNESCO APEID)에서 함께 제작하였으며 EIU와 ESD의 개념과 핵심교육 분야를 설명하고, 그들 간의 시너지 효과를 강조하기 위해 만들어졌다. 크게 다섯 파트로 나눠져 있는 본 책자는 각각 EIU와 ESD, 인권교육, 환경교육, 평화교육 그리고 양성 평등 교육에 대해서 그들의 등장배경, 의의, 목표 등을 설명하고 있다. 그리고 각 파트 끝에는 더 심도 있는 정보를 얻을 수 있는 자료 리스트를 제공하고 있다. 또한 이 교육들과 EIU, ESD가 어떻게 맞닿아 있는지를 서술하고 있어 독자들은 EIU와 ESD라는 큰 개념과 그 하위 교육들이 어떻게 연결되는지 쉽게 파악할 수 있을 것이다

Final Report: 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED held in Seoul and Gwangju, Republic of Korea from 19 June - 2 July, 2016. APCEIU organized the 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED in collaboration with UNESCO in order to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) target 4.7 by enhancing the capacity of teacher educators and trainers in implementing GCED. This intensive 2-week workshop provided the participating educators with the opportunities to better understand the concept and internalize the pedagogical principles of GCED while sharing their experiences and working on collaborative action plans. Final Report: 2016 UNESCO/KOICA Joint Fellowship Programme 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 2016 UNESCO/KOICA Joint Fellowship Programme held in Republic of Korea from 1 September - 31 October, 2016.In its 10th year of implementation, UNESCO/KOICA Joint Fellowship Programme 2016 invited 25 educators from 17 countries in Africa and the Asia-Pacific region for two months; from September 1st to October 31st. The overarching goal of the Programme was to enhance the capacities of participating educators under the themes of “Teacher Training for Basic Education,” “Use of ICT for Education (or e-Learning),” “Leadership in Global Education” and “Girls’ Education.” Composed of various segments such as lectures, workshops, hands-on activities, and seminars, which were closely interlinked with each module, the modules were designed to enable the participants to reorient their perspectives on educational development, to gain essential knowledge and skills, and furthermore to produce meaningful and relevant outputs that could be widely applied in their local contexts.For more information, please contact APCEIU's Office of Education and Training at ent@unescoapceiu.org.
