Education Under Attack 2020 발행 연도: 2020 단체 저자: Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) This study is published by the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA), which was formed in 2010 by organisations working in the fields of education in emergencies and conflict-affected contexts, higher education, protection, and international human rights and humanitarian law that were concerned about ongoing attacks on educational institutions, their students, and staff in countries affected by conflict and insecurity.GCPEA is a coalition of organizations that includes: co-chairs Human Rights Watch and Save the Children, the Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara), the Institute of International Education (IIE), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Education Above All Foundation (EAA), Plan International, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). GCPEA is a project of the Tides Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Education under Attack 2020 is the result of independent research conducted by GCPEA. It is independent of the individual member organizations of the Steering Committee of GCPEA and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Steering Committee member organizations. 
Putting Gender at the Forefront of the COVID-19 Education Response: Common Messaging Framework 발행 연도: 2020 단체 저자: United Nations Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI) Nationwide school closures as part of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have disrupted the education of an entire generation of children and youth. Previous health emergencies demonstrate that girls are disproportionately affected, with the effects of gender inequality and unequal power structures exacerbated in times of crisis. This Common Messaging Framework, developed with UNGEI partner and ally organisations, can be used as an advocacy tool to leverage the power of collective action to position gender at the forefront of the COVID-19 response and enhance coherence in advocacy and communications efforts. Las emergencias de salud anteriores han demostrado que las niñas se ven afectadas de manera desproporcionada con los efectos de la desigualdad de género y estructuras de poder desiguales exacerbadas en tiempos de crisis.Como asociación mundial dedicada a avanzar la igualdad de género en y a través de la educación, debemos ejercer el poder de la acción colectiva para posicionar al género en primer plano en la respuesta ante el COVID-19 y aumentar la coherencia en la defensa, promoción y comunicación entre las organizaciones socias y aliadas.Esta iniciativa común de mensajería representa una oportunidad estratégica para promover el diálogo y llamar la atención sobre los impactos de género del COVID-19, abogar por estrategias que respondan a las dimensiones de género de esta crisis y ver hacia una futura reapertura de las escuelas a través de una lente de género.

Through this research project, APCEIU mainly sought to answer the following questions; ▲What will be the implications of COVID-19 for international exchange and cooperation especially in education?▲What should we as educators, researchers, and practitioners do to counter the rise of populist nationalism?▲What should be the focus and direction of international cooperation in education during and after the pandemic in order to promote international understanding and GCED?
