Le réSEAU en action: citoyens du monde connectés pour le développement durable: guide à l'intention des élèves 발행 연도: 2017 단체 저자: UNESCO Le guide « Le réSEAU en action : Citoyens du monde connectés pour le développement durable » à l’intention des élèves a pour but d’initier les élèves du secondaire à l’éducation à la citoyenneté mondiale (ECM) et à l’éducation en vue du développement durable (EDD), et de leur proposer des idées et des activités pour qu’ils contribuent activement à la construction d’un monde plus pacifique et durable. Le guide s’appuie sur les discussions et les activités de près de 1 100 participants originaires de 104 pays, notamment des coordinnateurs nationaux du réSEAU, des chefs d’établissement, des enseignants, des élèves et des experts qui ont contribué à la plateforme collaborative en ligne « Le réSEAU en action : Citoyens du monde connectés pour le développement durable » en 2014 et 2015 [http://fr.unesco.org/aspnet/globalcitizens/]. Le guide à l’intention des élèves : donne une idée de ce que signifie « être un citoyen du monde » ainsi que des suggestions pour contribuer au développement durable ; propose des idées pour agir vous-mêmes dans votre foyer, dans votre école, dans votre communauté, dans votre pays et dans le monde ; présente une sélection d’activités sur l’ECM et l’EDD mises en œuvre par des écoles du réSEAU du monde entier.

Promotion and implementation of global citizenship education in crisis situations 발행 연도: 2017 저자: Robiolle Moul, Tina 단체 저자: 유네스코 Crisis situations affect the realization of human rights of many people and communities across all regions of the world. Within UNESCO’s relevant areas of work, GCED is a powerful approach to education that can empower people to recover from crises and transform their communities into peaceful and sustainable societies. UNESCO commissioned a desk study that aimed at reviewing existing research on the promotion and implementation of GCED and related programs in countries affected by crisis situations, with particular attention to initiatives benefiting the refugee population. This study unveils the key challenges these programs encounter in such contexts, as well as promising practices that can guide the design and implementation of future GCED in crisis situations. This report is a synthesis of this desk study and supports the evidence that, after analyzing the context and the available means, GCED and related programs can and should be systematically adapted and implemented in crisis situations, including in response to refugee crises. 
[Summary] Education for People and Planet: Creating sustainable Futures for All, Global Education Monitoring Report, 2016; Summary 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: UNESCO Education for People and Planet: Creating Sustainable Futures for All explores the complex relationship between education and the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, covering six fundamental pillars – Planet, Prosperity, People, Peace, Place and Partnerships. This report shows that education will not deliver its full potential unless participation rates increase dramatically and sustainable development guides education system reform. It also warns of the destructive impact that climate change, conflict, unsustainable consumption and the increasing gap between rich and poor have on education. A huge transformation is needed if we are to create sustainable futures for all. 
Etude comparative de manuels scolaires: document de travail dans le cadre du dialogue Euro-Arabe, rapport de synthèse 발행 연도: 2015 저자: Jacqueline Costa-Lascoux | Janine d'Artois Pursuant to the Charter of the United Nations and the Constitution of UNESCO, calling for peace between peoples and respect for cultural diversity, several National Commissions for UNESCO have taken the initiative to create the conditions for a Euro-Arab dialogue in the field of education. The French and Moroccan National Commissions, in particular, have decided to launch studies to highlight stereotypes, misunderstandings and subliminal bias about Arab countries in European textbooks and about European countries in textbooks in the Arab world. First, these studies were conducted by researchers focusing on their own countries' textbooks in order to analyse how the history of the countries on "the other side of the Mediterranean" was represented. Second, a common methodology was developed to allow comoparative approaches favourable to Euro-Arab dialogue. This was to address any mutual bias or misrepresentations that may exist between the two regions and to work togehter to find ways of preventing and combating them. The originality of the approach was to conduct a critical analysis of textbooks published in each country and then underetake a comparative study to be used as the basis for common recommendations. Participants in this project initiated by the National Commissions defined three main objectives: 1. To strengthen dialogue, laying the foundations for learning to live together, based on mutual respect. 2. To help National Commissions for UNESCO, experts, institutions and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to find ways to work together in areas of research of common interest. 3. To contribute to UNESCO's efforts to develop a stretegy relating to textbooks, to improve the quality of education for peace, human rights, mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue.
