Multilingual Education in Central Asian Institutions of Higher Education (Journal of Moscow University. Series 20. Pedagogical Education; No.2, 2020) 발행 연도: 2020 저자: Цзэн Тин In the context of internationalization, language education and the choice of language for teaching have become important factors affecting the quality of higher education. Currently, in addition to Turkmenistan, the Governments of other Central Asian countries are putting forward strategies for multilingual development that correspond to their own national characteristics. The problems of the development of multilingual education in higher educational institutions of Central Asia are as follows: strong political coloring, lack of qualified teachers, educational materials and funds for education, difficulties in the development of the national language. Проблемы развития полиязычного образования в высших учебных заведениях Центральной Азии заключаются в следующем: сильная политическая окраска, нехватка квалифицированных преподавателей, учебных материалов и денежных средств на образование, трудности в развитии национального языка.

This publication is aimed at educational policy makers. For LLECE, decision-making is based on evidence and anchored to conceptual models that allow for the adequate interpretation of reality. This document fulfills this purpose, since it has the fundamental characteristic of translating the conclusions drawn from the TERCE into policy and educational practice. In this sense, the empirical evidence provided by the study shows the main factors that influence the achievement of learning, which represent concrete challenges of educational policy. Para el LLECE, la toma de decisiones debe estar basada en evidencia y anclada a algunos modelos conceptuales que permitan interpretar de manera adequada la realidad. Este documento cumple con este propósito, puesto que posee la característica fundamental de traducir las conclusiones extraídas de la evidencia del TERCE en política y la práctica educativa. En este sentido, la evidencia empírica que aporta el estudio muestra los principales factores que influyen en el logro de los aprendizajes, los cuales representan desafíos concretos de política educativa.

An ad hoc designed questionnaire was used and a mixed, quantitative and qualitative method was chosen. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 237 Brazilian educators. The results reveal that attention to cultural diversity plays an important role in educational activity. Educators, as a whole, are sensitive to cultural diversity and its promotion, but the intercultural training received is insufficient. Little family participation is encouraged, resources are scarce and the intercultural dimension lacks pedagogical systematization. Se utilizó un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc y se opta por un método mixto, cuantitativo y cualitativo. El cuestionario se aplicó a una muestra de 237 educadores brasileños. Los resultados revelan que la atención a la diversidad cultural ocupa un papel importante en la actividad educativa. Los educadores, en su conjunto, son sensibles a la diversidad cultural y a su fomento, pero la formación intercultural recibida es insuficiente. Se fomenta poco la participación familiar, los recursos escasean y la dimensión intercultural carece de sistematización pedagógica.
