Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is increasingly recognized around the world as an effective enabler for a more sustainable future. Building climate change awareness and building capacities for adaptation and mitigation are critical dimensions of ESD. The critical role of education in climate change responses was clearly recognized at the Paris Climate Conference (COP21) in December 2015. COP22 in Marrakesh and COP23 in Bonn reiterate the importance of climate change education in achieving the global agendas.

Représentant près de la moitié des opérateurs de l’État et accueillant un large public, ils ont un impact environnemental substantiel. De nombreuses initiatives ont été prises ces dernières années en la matière et les politiques menées dans les établissements commencent à se mettre en place. Elles sont cependant encore insuffisantes pour atteindre les objectifs affichés, manquant en particulier de nombreux outils pour développer une démarche rigoureuse, cohérente et efficace. L’enseignement supérieur a pourtant un rôle majeur à jouer, non seulement pour réduire sa propre empreinte écologique, mais aussi pour produire, adapter et diffuser les connaissances nécessaires à la réussite de la transition écologique.Higher education institution occupy a specific place in the ecological transition. Representing nearly half of the state operators and catering to a diverse audience, they have a substantial environmental impact. Numerous initiatives have been undertaken in recent years, and policies within these institutions are beginning to take shae. However, they are still insufficient to achieve the stated objectives, notably lacking many tools to develop a rigorous, coherent and effective approach. Higher education has a crucial role to play, not only in reducing its own ecological footprint but also in generating, adapting, and disseminating th knowledge necessary for the success of the ecological transition. 
Guardians of Planet Earth: Gamification in Early Childhood Education 발행 연도: 2020 단체 저자: Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado (INTEF) The project "Inspiring Educational Experiences" is part of the Educational Digital Transformation Plan launched by INTEF, specifically "Guardians of planet Earth" whose main objective is the internalization by students of the importance of caring for our planet around three fundamental axes: recycling and treatment of waste, care of flora and fauna. With this, it intends to impregnate the students and their families with solid values that are internalized and endure over time and for this it uses different methodologies and active and participatory teaching strategies, in turn, favors the development of creativity and imagination in all activity of the project and explains how ICTs are a transversal element, offering the youngest population a variety of opportunities to use and enjoy technology.
