Banta Jr. | Roy Hellenberg | Anna Susarenco | Diego Manrique | Guranda Bursulaia | Noora Elkenawi | Shawgi Ahmed | Tshering Zangmo | Valeriia Moroz 단체 저자: APCEIU Since 2016 the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) Youth Network and UNESCO Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding(APCEIU) have been working together to support young people to take action to make their communities and the world a better place.This manual, which is the outcome of a joint initiative by the GCED Youth Network and APCEIU, is intended to provide a useful resource for those who teach GCED, for youth organisations that are engaged in advocacy on themes that relate to global citizenship, and those who are supporting youth advocacy.The manual is organized in three main sections: Section 1 focuses on GCED and the teaching of history as a strategy for building a peaceful world.Section 2 provides step by step practical guidelines and ideas for youth advocacy organisations to help them plan advocacy initiatives.Section 3 includes background information and practical ideas for youth advocacy on a series of themes that are relevant to GCED, including empowerment of vulnerable communities, media literacy and peace building. It also considers the role of GCED, and young people, in global crises, using the example of the COVID-19 pandemic, and provides suggestions to help youth advocacy and other organisations to prepare for and respond to such crises

Mis ensemble, ils signifient « vivre ensemble », « s’entraider ». C’est notre vision pour la région Asie-Pacifique. SangSaeng (相生) se veut une plateforme de débats constructifs sur les sujets, méthodes et expériences dans le domaine de l’éducation à la compréhension internationale. For effective delivery of peace education, it is critical to examine and understand the relevance of peace education and its key issues and approaches at a given juncture. With this in mind, in 2020, APCEIU conducted a study on peace education in South Korea to review its current state and suggest some policy recommendations. Following up on this study, APCEIU initiated in 2021 a research project on peace education in Northeast Asia in order to identify how peace education is interpreted and practised in the countries of the region and explore possibilities of cooperation among peace educators, researchers, and practitioners in the region. Building on this research, APCEIU hopes to develop and carry out joint projects for peace education in the region. 
EIU Best Practices Series No. 6: Practical Research on Current Issues: Studies on Global Perspectives in Schools in Japan 발행 연도: 2007 단체 저자: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.6 is a research undertaken on two schools of Japan and Korea, in which students were tasked to conduct research on bilateral conflict issues and devise suggestions for peaceful resolution. Besides classroom discussions and presentations, student exchange visit further allowed active learning and engaging of issues, historical awareness and perception, and mutual understanding as global citizens. 
United Nations Strategy and Plan of Action on Hate Speech 발행 연도: 2019 단체 저자: United Nations (UN) In response to the alarming trend of rising hate speech around the world, Secretary-General António Guterres launched the United Nations Strategy and Plan of Action on Hate Speech, on 18 June 2019.Seeking to enhance the UN’s response to the global phenomenon of hate speech, this strategy is the outcome of close collaboration between 16 entities under the UN Working Group on Hate Speech and is coordinated by the United Nations Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide.The Strategy makes a firm commitment to step up coordinated action to tackle hate speech, both at global and national levels.
