Education in a Post-COVID World: Towards a Rapid Transformation; Main Report 발행 연도: 2023 단체 저자: United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, resulting in disruptions to education at an unprecedented scale. In response to the urgent need to recover learning losses, countries worldwide have taken RAPID actions to: Reach every child and keep them in school; Assess learning levels regularly; Prioritize teaching the fundamentals; Increase the efficiency of instruction; and Develop psychosocial health and wellbeing. Marking three years since the onset of the pandemic, this report looks back at policy measures taken during school closures and reopening based on country survey data, initiatives implemented by countries and regions to recover and accelerate learning, and their emerging lessons within each RAPID action. With schools now reopened worldwide, this report also looks ahead to longer-term education transformation, offering policy recommendations to build more resilient, effective and equitable education systems. 
他异与共同价值: 全球化时代国际理解教育的范式转型与价值转向 (现代教育论丛; No.2, 2023) 발행 연도: 2023 저자: 叶雅萱 当前，全球化的日益深入使文化交往成为必然之事，而文化差异又难以避免地客观存在着。在这一背景下，充满异质性的多元文化如何共存与发展则成为全球化新时期各文化主体共同面对的重要课题。国际理解教育致力于通过促进文化理解使各文化共存成为可能。关于文化理解，有“不同”与“陌异”两种常见的认识范式，二者分别以内在性和外在性的眼光看待文化间关系。基于此二者的国际理解教育则分别走向普世主义与相对主义两种截然不同的价值立场，皆存在一定的教育隐忧。而“他异”的文化理解范式则可能成为超越两者、扭转国际理解教育困境的出口。“他异”的认识范式主张以兼具外在性与伦理性的眼光看待文化间关系，建立起互为他者的伦理共在关系。基于此，国际理解教育转向具有关系性、生成性的共同价值立场，重视文化主体间在对话与交往中建构让多元文化得以共存与发展的价值共识。 
فاعلية التكامل بين إستراتيجيتي التدريس التبادلي والمحطات العلمية في تدريس مادة العلوم على تنمية بعض المهارات اليدوية العلمية لدى تلميذات الصف الثامن الأساسي في مدارس مدينة ذمار (مجلة الآداب للدراسات النفسية والتربوية; Vol.5, No.3) 발행 연도: 2023 저자: Nabeeha Saleh Abdulmoghni, Mohammed Ebrahim Al-San 단체 저자: Dhamar University هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على فاعلية التدريس باستخدام المدخل التكاملي البيني المدمج بين إستراتيجيتي التدريس التبادلي والمحطات العلمية في تدريس مادة العلوم لتنمية بعض المهارات اليدوية العلمية لدى تلميذات الصف الثامن الأساسي بمدينة ذمار، وتكونت عينة البحث من (60) تلميذة، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والمنهج التجريبي القائم على التصميم شبه التجريبي للمجموعتين، ذي القياسين القبلي والبعدي، وتكونت أدوات البحث من قائمة تحليل محتوى الوحدة السابعة (التغذية في الكائنات الحية)، والثامنة (علاقة ما تتناوله بصحة جسمك)، من كتاب العلوم المقرر للصف الثامن الأساسي، وقائمة بالمهارات اليدوية العلمية اللازم تنميتها، وبطاقة ملاحظة المهارات اليدوية العلمية المكونة من ثلاثة مهارات رئيسة، هي: (مهارات إجراء التجارب العلمية بصورة صحيحة - تصميم ورسم الأشكال والرسوم التوضيحية بصورة صحيحة، ودقيقة -اتباع قواعد الأمان، والسلامة في المختبر)، وبعد التأكد من الصدق والثبات للأدوات المستخدمة، وتطبيقها على عينة البحث، توصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج أبرزها أن هناك فروقاً دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسط درجات تلميذات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في بطاقة ملاحظة المهارات اليدوية العلمية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية تُعزى للمدخل التكاملي البيني. Effectiveness of Integrating Reciprocal Teaching and Science Stations Strategies in Teaching Science on Developing Some Science Hand Skills among Eighth Grade Female Pupils in Thamar City (Arts for Educational & Psychological Studies; Vol.5, No.3) 발행 연도: 2023 저자: Nabeeha Saleh Abdulmoghni, Mohammed Ebrahim Al-San 단체 저자: Dhamar University This study aimed to identify the impact of integrating reciprocal teaching and science stations strategies in teaching science on developing some science hand skills among Eighth-grade female pupils in Thamar City. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical method and the quasi-experimental design of the two groups, with pre and post measurements, were used. The data collection tools included: a checklist for analyzing Unit 7 (Nutrition in Living Organisms), and unit 8 (The Relationship of what you eat to your Health) in the respective textbook; a checklist of science hand skills to be developed; and an observation sheet of the skills, covering three main skills: (carrying out scientific experiments correctly- designing and drawing shapes and illustrations correctly- following safety rules in the laboratory). After testing the validity and reliability of the tools, and administering them to the study sample, a number of results were revealed. More specifically, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pupils of the experimental and control groups in the science hand skills, attributed to the experimental group due to the integrative approach.

Cette convergence souligne l’importance de ces questions et l’urgence de mesures destinées à réparer le lien entre les citoyens et les institutions et, à travers l’éducation citoyenne de la jeunesse, à renforcer la cohésion nationale et à préparer l’avenir de notre démocratie. Au terme de ses travaux, la mission formule vingt-trois recommandations pour mieux éduquer et former à la citoyenneté, pour encourager une citoyenneté active par l’engagement, et pour repenser les pratiques démocratiques afin de rapprocher les citoyens – et plus particulièrement les jeunes – des institutions. Her Atlas: Interactive Advocacy Tool on Girls’ and Women’s Right to Education 발행 연도: 2023 단체 저자: UNESCO Many girls and women cannot exercise their right to education due to gender inequality and discriminatory practices. Poverty, early marriage, and gender-based violence are just some of the many reasons behind the high percentage of global female illiteracy and school drop-outs. Strengthening the right of girls and women to quality education is key to eliminate discrimination and to achieve equal rights between genders. This cannot be achieved without solid national legal frameworks that are rightsbased, gender responsive and inclusive. This is where HerAtlas comes in. HerAtlas, is a first of its kind online tool that maps the right to education of girls and women. It aims to enhance public knowledge and monitor the status of national constitutions, legislation and regulations related to education rights for girls and women to encourage countries to take action, strengthen their laws and policies, and lead to long term change. Concrete changes are already apparent. In 2019, 4% of countries were explicitly restricting the right to education of married, pregnant, and parenting girls. This has dropped to 2% in 2022, benefiting millions of girls who can now legally attend school when they marry or become pregnant. Protect Her Rights, Strengthen Your Laws: Her Atlas; Status Report on Girls’ and Women’s Right to Education 발행 연도: 2022 단체 저자: UNESCO UNESCO’s Her Education, our future initiative, Her Atlas was launched in 2019 with the aim to enhance public knowledge and monitor the status of national constitutions, legislation and regulations related to girls’ and women’s education rights in order to encourage countries to take actions to improve their legal frameworks. Three years after its launch, the research phase has been completed: overall, the legal frameworks of 196 countries have been thoroughly analyzed to evaluate the level of protection of girls’ and women’s right to education around the world. In an interactive world map format, Her Atlas uses a color-coded scoring system to monitor 12 indicators of legal progress towards gender equality in the right to education. This report marks the completion of the first research phase and intends to highlight some key trends outlined by the research work, and to emphasize examples of legal provisions regarding some aspects of girls’ and women’s right to education guaranteed by States’ domestic laws.
