Urgent action, taken together, is needed to change course and reimagine our futures. Education, long acknowledged as a powerful force for positive change, has new, urgent and important work to do. Informed by a global consultation process engaging about one million people, this report of the International Commission on the Futures of Education invites governments, institutions, organizations, and citizens around the world to forge a new social contract for education that will help us build peaceful, just, and sustainable futures together and for all.The report features in-depth looks at digital technologies, climate change, democratic slippage and societal polarization and the uncertain future of work. It aims not only to open the conversation about education to everyone and provoke thought, but to spur each of us on to action. It argues, above all, that it is through millions of individual and collective acts of courage, leadership, resistance, creativity and care that we will change course and transform education to build just, equitable and sustainable futures. Tenemos que adoptar medidas consensuadas de forma urgente para cambiar de rumbo y replantearnos nuestros futuros. En el plano educativo, que desde antaño se reconoce como un importante motor que propicia cambios positivos, se nos plantean desafíos nuevos, urgentes e importantes. Este informe de la Comisión Internacional sobre Los futuros de la educación, que se ha nutrido de un proceso mundial de consultas en el que han participado aproximadamente 1 millón de personas, insta a los gobiernos, las instituciones, las organizaciones y los ciudadanos de todo el mundo a preparar un nuevo contrato social en materia educativa que nos permita colaborar con el objetivo de forjar futuros pacíficos, justos y sostenibles para todas las personas. En el informe se abordan de forma detallada las tecnologías digitales, el cambio climático, el retroceso democrático y la polarización social, y el incierto futuro de la esfera laboral. Mediante este documento, no solo se pretende contribuir a que todas las personas participen en la conversación sobre la educación y promover la reflexión, sino también instar a todos los individuos a actuar. Según la tesis fundamental del informe, a través de millones de actos individuales y colectivos caracterizados por su valentía, liderazgo, resistencia, creatividad y atención, cambiaremos de rumbo y transformaremos el ámbito educativo a fin de forjar futuros justos, equitativos y sostenibles. 
The United Nations World Water Development Report 2022: Groundwater; Making the Invisible Visible 발행 연도: 2022 단체 저자: UNESCO The 2022 edition of the United Nations World Water Development Report, titled “Groundwater: Making the invisible visible”, describes the challenges and opportunities associated with the development, management and governance of groundwater across the world. The report addresses groundwater-related issues from the perspective of the three main water use sectors (agriculture, human settlements and industry), as well as its interactions with ecosystems and its relation with climate change. It highlights different regional perspectives and presents a number of response options concerning data and information, policy and planning, management and governance, as well as financing.The United Nations World Water Development Report is UN-Water’s flagship report on water and sanitation issues, focusing on a different theme each year. The report is published by UNESCO, on behalf of UN-Water and its production is coordinated by the UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme. The report gives insight on main trends concerning the state, use and management of freshwater and sanitation, based on work done by the Members and Partners of UN-Water. Launched in conjunction with World Water Day, the report provides decision-makers with knowledge and tools to formulate and implement sustainable water policies. It also offers best practices and in-depth analyses to stimulate ideas and actions for better stewardship in the water sector and beyond. Le rapport examine les questions relatives aux eaux souterraines sous l’angle des trois principaux secteurs d’utilisation de l’eau (agriculture, établissements humains et industrie) ainsi que leurs interactions avec les écosystèmes et leur relation au changement climatique. Il met également en avant différentes perspectives régionales et présente un certain nombre de solutions possibles en matière de données et d’informations, de politiques et de planification, de gestion et de gouvernance ainsi que de financement.Abordant un thème différent chaque année, le Rapport mondial des Nations Unies sur la mise en valeur des ressources en eau est le rapport phare d’ONU-Eau sur les questions d’eau et d’assainissement. A New Social Contract for Education: Advancing a Paradigm of Relational Interconnectedness 발행 연도: 2023 저자: Elena Toukan 단체 저자: UNESCO This paper looks at recent calls for “a new social contract for education” through the lens of a relational ontology for humanity and a living planet. Through a critical view of social contract theory, the paper looks at how this call can be an entry point to a deeper paradigmatic shift in framing questions of justice, social organization, and education itself. It proposes a shift from a rules-based transactional model to a relationship-based model grounded in understanding and appreciation of interdependence and interconnectedness. In order to shape more just and sustainable futures for humanity and the planet, a new social contract for education will need to transcend atomistic, transactional, and adversarial social dynamics and instead be organized around relational interconnectedness. Mediante una visión crítica de la teoría del contrato social, el artículo examina cómo este llamamiento puede ser un punto de partida hacia un cambio paradigmático más profundo a la hora de enmarcar cuestiones de justicia, organización social y la propia educación. Propone pasar de un modelo transaccional basado en normas a un modelo basado en relaciones y fundamentado en la comprensión y la apreciación de la interdependencia y la interconexión. Con miras a forjar futuros más justos y sostenibles para la humanidad y el planeta, el nuevo contrato social para la educación deberá trascender las dinámicas sociales atomistas, transaccionales y de confrontación y organizarse en torno a la interconexión relacional. Il se penche, en portant un regard critique sur la théorie du contrat social, sur la façon dont ces appels peuvent amorcer un changement de paradigme plus profond en ce qui concerne la façon d’aborder les questions de justice, d’organisation sociale et d’éducation. Il propose de passer d’un modèle transactionnel fondé sur les règles à un modèle relationnel qui repose sur la compréhension et la valorisation de l’interdépendance et de l’interconnexion. Afin de façonner des futurs plus justes et plus durables pour l’humanité et la planète, le nouveau contrat social pour l’éducation devra dépasser les dynamiques sociales atomistes, transactionnelles et antagonistes et se structurer autour de l’interconnexion relationnelle.

This platform is hosted and managed by UNESCO which ensures that the data presented correspond exactly to the boundaries of the World Heritage properties and their buffer zones as inscribed in the World Heritage List, including any changes adopted by the World Heritage Committee after the initial inscription of a property.
