The Series No.14 introduces ‘Culturology,’ a mandatory course instituted in Kyrgyz-Uzbek University, designed and implemented to teach cultural diversity and tolerance to students. Given the nation’s recent history of independence and racial and religious diversity, the University chose to develop the course program and methodology guidebook to foster understanding of international education and multiculturalism.

The Series No.20 introduces EIU projects undertaken by the Avloni In-Service Teacher Training Institute in Uzbekistan. The programme integrates EIU concepts into the public education through in-service training programs, promotes EIU concepts in different subjects and projects, and broadcasts good practices in the field of global citizenship education nationwide. Although it is still in the process of improvement, the programme is expected to raise awareness of EIU and empower education managers, principals and teachers in Uzbekistan. 
EIU Best Practices Series No. 21: EIU School-based Initiatives in Bhutan 발행 연도: 2010 저자: Rinzin Wangmo 단체 저자: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.21 introduces the case of Yonphula Lower Secondary School in Trashigang, Bhutan, which successfully incorporated EIU principles into the existing curriculum. With the Gross National Happiness (GNH) principle as Bhutan’s educational framework, EIU can fit easily to the academic settings and system. The case highlights activities, such as providing non-formal education for illiterate parents, and counseling services, health programs, and meditation programs to students, in exemplifying how innovative school activities can optimize the GNH framework for the promotion of EIU.

Final Report: 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED 발행 연도: 2016 단체 저자: APCEIU This report provides an overview of the activities carried out during the 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED held in Seoul and Gwangju, Republic of Korea from 19 June - 2 July, 2016. APCEIU organized the 1st Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED in collaboration with UNESCO in order to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) target 4.7 by enhancing the capacity of teacher educators and trainers in implementing GCED. This intensive 2-week workshop provided the participating educators with the opportunities to better understand the concept and internalize the pedagogical principles of GCED while sharing their experiences and working on collaborative action plans. EIU Best Practices Series No. 37: Early Childhood and Elementary Education for Indigenous Learners Programme 발행 연도: 2014 저자: Bricks Sabella Sintaon 단체 저자: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.37 introduces the Early Childhood and Elementary Education (ECEE) for Indigenous Learners Programme initiated in the Philippines. The indigenous peoples (IP) reside in the mountainous regions, away from basic social services and struggling with poverty, malnutrition, and lack of proper education. The aim of ECEE is to facilitate access to quality and culturally-relevant early childhood and elementary education for the Higaonon indigenous children. To achieve this, activities such as curriculum indigenization and teacher training are provided in collaboration with the community members. As the program creates learning process for all through openness, sharing, and collaboration, this is an exemplary case of EIU/GCED pedagogical approach. 
EIU Best Practices Series No. 27: Integrating EIU with the Curriculum for Gross National Happiness Education in Bhutan 발행 연도: 2012 저자: Udhim Subba 단체 저자: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No.27 introduces Bhutan’s Yebilaptsa Middle Secondary School, in its effort to promote values of EIU as a complementary component of the Gross National Happiness Education efforts. Activities such as UNESCO club community activities, environmental learning, EIU cultural night, international exchange altogether exemplify effective ways to integrate EIU practices in the curriculum and extracurricular programs of schools. 
EIU Best Practices Series No.40: Global Citizenship Education Capacity Building Initiative: Misitry of Education, Kiribati 발행 연도: 2015 단체 저자: APCEIU This monograph is one of APCEIU's EIU Best Practices Series, which aims to encourage educators, scholars, and activists to implement and share local initiatives on EIU. The Series No. 40 introduces a successful hosting of workshop on GCED in Kiribati. Considered the first of its kind in Kiribati, the workshop brought together education officers and teachers to learn about emerging concept of GCED and EIU and means for implementation. The exemplary workshop involving fieldtrips and seminars has created a wave of learning opportunities for key stakeholders at all levels, paving way to put GCED into practice.
