Développer la dimension mondiale dans les écoles primaires 발행 연도: 2009 저자: Sian Higgins 단체 저자: Centre for Global Education (CGE) «Développer la dimension mondiale dans les écoles de Peterborough» était un projet de deux ans co-financé par le Département pour le Développement International (DpDI) et la Mission Lèpre d'engager six écoles primaires dans les questions de développement et de soutenir les enfants à devenir des citoyens du monde efficaces. Utilisation de la perspective de l'auteur du projet en tant que responsable des programmes de la coordination à la Mission Lèpre, il sera réfléchi sur l'importance de la dimension mondiale dans l'enseignement primaire et d'explorer la façon dont ces écoles primaires ont développé leurs programmes, les politiques et l'éthique afin que les enfants sont mieux préparés pour le monde global dans lequel nous vivons. 
Study on International Development Cooperation for Children 발행 연도: 2023 단체 저자: Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation International development cooperation for children is vital to safeguarding child rights. With support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation conducted a study on international development cooperation for children. This report presents case studies on international development cooperation for children among four top donors, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany. It examines the different contexts, strategies, policies, institutional mechanisms, and challenges related to international development cooperation for children and revealed several notable characteristics of international development cooperation for children. The study analyzed the evolution of China’s international development cooperation model for children in the past few decades. This has been improved today to various degrees in the Arctic states. However, lack of skilled teachers with local roots is a circumpolar challenge. Arctic higher educational institutions also face many challenges when attempting to be innovative and competitive due to their small size and geographic isolation. The model of the University of the Arctic allows for a dynamic development of shared education systems through mutual cooperation. This network can be a very efficient tool to for delivering a relevant curriculum for a changing North. The selection of countries was based on: i) work showcased at the 2009 World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development held in Bonn, Germany; ii) submissions to the monitoring and evaluation process for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD); as well as iii) through evaluation material submitted by UNESCO staff in regional bureaux of education.The countries showcased in this report are not necessarily the ‘best’ examples of the region, as many other countries are also progressing effectively towards implementing ESD. Rather, the countries selected illustrate the wide diversity of ESD approaches and initiatives taking place in different parts of the learnt world. The national studies were then edited and harmonized before common themes and lessons learned were identified to support other national efforts in moving towards the second half of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
