The report intends to contribute to the facilitation of high-level policy discussions between national education authorities, regional and continental bodies on possible strategic shifts and interventions to boost access to education and improve the quality of teaching and learning in Africa. The report provides evidence-based analysis of the situation of education in Africa while putting into perspective the Sustainable Development Goals and the objectives of the Continental Education Strategy for Africa (CESA 16โ25) in line with the African Union Agenda 2063. It highlights the progress made in the continentโs education sector over the past decade (2010โ2020) while pointing out the challenges that remain, particularly in the area of equity.

Gender Training Manual: INEE Guidance Note on Gender; Gender Equality in and Through Education ๋ฐํ ์ฐ๋: 2021 ๋จ์ฒด ์ ์: Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) This training manual outlines 4-8 hours of training activities and materials related to gender-responsive education in emergencies. These training materials include guidance for facilitators (including key concepts, activity instructions, and discussion guides), presentation slides, and activity handouts for participants. Facilitators are encouraged to first review the instructions prior to training, which provides guidance for contextualization of the training resources.
