Political Participation and Political Empowerment of Women with Disabilities, Challenges and Remedial Mechanisms in the Arab World 발행 연도: 2019 저자: Fatima Bou Dirham Political, economic, social, cultural and administrative, in addition to all forms of corruption, these underdeveloped societies in all fields, need to make optimal use of all financial, human and human resources in particular, without discrimination between males and females, especially since the category of women represents half of this society in terms of Demographic. Or more than that in some Arab societies that are experiencing increasing demographic growth for health and other social reasons, these societies do not believe much in the developmental and productive roles of women, but confine them to the reproductive, social and educational role in the Arab family circle and the issue becomes more complex, when we know that many of these States go beyond and exceed the texts of constitutions they have enacted and ratified, on the equal rights and duties of women and men and ignore the growing and growing roles of women in development. To address this issue, I proceed from a basic problem: What are the most important obstacles and challenges facing the issues of political participation and political empowerment of women in the Arab world and what are the mechanisms of treatment? In the light of this problem, I formulate the following hypotheses: The first hypothesis: The most important obstacles and challenges facing the issues of political participation and political empowerment of women in the Arab world are the political, economic, cultural, media, legal, administrative, and privacy of women. The second hypothesis: The treatment mechanisms come from the same nature and sources of obstacles and challenges.  Building true citizens for a single humanity (SangSaeng no. 37 summer autumn 2013) 발행 연도: 2013 단체 저자: APCEIU SangSaeng No. 37- How to Foster Global Citizenship? has been published. But there is one common denominator that cuts across this agenda: data. Without timely, relevant, and disaggregated data, policymakers and their development partners will be unprepared to turn their promises into reality for communities worldwide. With only eleven years left to meet the goals, it is imperative that we focus on building robust, inclusive, and relevant national data systems to support the curation and promotion of better data for sustainable development. In Counting on the World to Act, TReNDS details an action plan for governments and their development partners that will enable them to help deliver the SDGs globally by 2030. Our recommendations specifically aim to empower government actors – whether they be national statisticians, chief data scientists, chief data officers, ministers of planning, or others concerned with evidence in support of sustainable development – to advocate for, build, and lead a new data ecosystem.  Her Education, Our Future UNESCO Too many girls and women are still held back by social norms and traditional school practices influencing their educational right and opportunities. The 2030 Agenda commitment to ‘leave no one behind’, brings new impetus to ensure that indigenous peoples’ priorities are heard. In 2017, UNESCO adopted the Policy on engaging with indigenous peoples. Concurrently, as part of its mandate, UNESCO monitors the implementation of the 1960 Convention and Recommendation against Discrimination in Education. During the Ninth Consultation on the implementation of this instrument, several Member States reported upon measures they have taken in relation to the right to education for indigenous peoples. This document (Indigenous Peoples’ Right to Education: Overview of the Measures Supporting the Right to Education for Indigenous Peoples Reported by Member States in the Context of the Ninth Consultation on the 1960 Convention and Recommendation against Discrimination in Education) compiles practical examples extracted from these reports for information sharing and advocacy.  Building Stronger Education Systems: Stories of Change The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) A compilation of results stories which show the progress that GPE's developing country partners are making in getting more children, especially girls, in school and learning.
