School closures have deepened pre-existing learning disparities, within and among countries, due to inequities in access to technology. This brief summarises research findings and provides actionable recommendations for how to equitably scale up digital learning and provide children and young people with the skills to improve their prospects and safeguard their well-being. In collaboration with NEQMAP, the GEM Centre has conducted a rapid review of policy and practice documents for 14 countries, and an online survey with policy-makers in 7 of them to identify the types of flexible learning strategies that were implemented over the course of this pandemic. The tool from the programme Connect with Respect (CwR) guides teachers in lower secondary schools to deliver a range of activities with their students. The resources listed have been selected in response to a survey of INEE members’ needs, and in acknowledgement of the diverse emergency contexts in which INEE members work. While this resource is aimed primarily at INEE members working at a national level, we hope it will be helpful to any organization or individual who advocates for—or wants to advocate for —EiE at a local, regional, or global level. Elle rassemble des ressources issues des secteurs de l’éducation, humanitaire et du développement et les présente de façon claire sous forme de listes concises. If GCED is enshrined in their policies, visions, missions, values, objectives, and strategic goals and plans; 2. If students perceive that their universities are developing the learning outcomes of GCED.The study, carried out by UNESCO in 2021, analysed the strategic documents and plans of 34 universities from 17 countries in the Arab region. A survey was also administered to 336 students, primarily in Oman but also including students at several other universities in the Arab region.
