The conference was initiated by the international committee of the Festival des Solidarités (Festisol) and led by AQOCI (Quebec Association of International Cooperation Organizations). Several speakers from several countries discuss the challenges of the decolonial approach to education for global citizenship. The possible emancipation of marginalized people is explored. But they are under threat. In the last 30 years, they’ve lost an area larger than Algeria and Libya combined. FAO’s latest State of the World’s Forests (SOFO) report identifies three pathways that can conserve forests while supporting environmental and economic recovery: halting deforestation, restoring degraded forests, and sustainably using forests to build resilient local economies. Strengthening Social and Emotional Learning in Hybrid Modes of Education: Building Support for Students, Teachers, Schools and Families 발행 연도: 2024 단체 저자: UNESCO International Bureau of Education (IBE) This Discussion Paper focuses on the essential role of social and emotional learning (SEL) in the global movement to transform education and amplify its social, economic, environmental and personal impacts in a rapidly changing world. It explores how the mainstreaming of SEL into educational policies and practices can contribute to realizing future visions of education that are flexible, reflective, innovative, and impactful. Specifically, the Paper focuses on six topics that, as a whole, reflect global experiences in integrating and implementing SEL in its various forms both during and in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its main objective is to animate discussion on how to integrate a SEL dimension in hybrid modes of teaching and learning. This introductory overview presents the overall purpose and scope of the Paper, defines its underlying concepts and introduces the topics brought to this forum through the lenses of a diverse group of educators from Africa, the Arab States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

The general objective of the project is to promote cooperation between Spain and Portugal in the educational, social and economic development of the border territories through the creation of a network of schools that pro-vides the populations knowledge and skills associated with bilingualism and interculturality relevant to citizenship, continuation of studies and employability in both countries. This article presents the PEBIF project, both its structuring theoretical principles and the implementation carried out, as well as the most relevant results obtained so far. El objetivo general del proyecto es promover la cooperación entre España y Portugal en el desarrollo educativo, social y económico de los territorios de frontera a través de la creación de una red de escuelas que proporcione a las poblaciones conocimientos y habilidades asociadas al bilingüismo y la interculturalidad relevantes para la ciudadanía, la continuación de los estudios y la empleabilidad en ambos países. En este artículo se presenta el proyecto PEBIF, tantos sus principios teóricos estructurantes como la implementación realizada, así como los resultados más relevantes obtenidos hasta ahora. 
Internationalization in Basic Education: Languages of Reality(Revista iberoamericana de educación; vol. 93, no. 1) 발행 연도: 2023 저자: Vera Lucia Felicetti | Vanessa Gabrielle Woicolesco 단체 저자: Revista Iberoamericana de Educación The presence of internationalization practices in Basic Education schools has been quietly taking shape on the national, Ibero-American and international stage, but the absence of records of the actions that characterize them as internationalization continues to be a gap in their understanding. From these silent practices of internationalization we see the potential to build knowledge while respecting the interculturality that permeates the educational space. In this sense, we must recognize and understand these practices as internationalization processes, with a view to debating and reflecting on how they can contribute to the improvement of the educational system from an Ibero-American perspective.
